i brought a miner from a marketplace that you can install on your RAT slaves, cam back to it today and saw i had 15.9 bitcoins! this combined with my balance of 0.9 other coins from other marketplaces means that i want to get rid off for paypal!

so give me an offer via pm or simply post here, i will accept amazon vouchers, paypal (preferred) and MSP
hope i can deal with someone!

SCAMMER ALERT: BTC4PPGBP

User BTC4PPGBP is a scammer.  After agreeing to a fair price yesterday for 1 BTC, user BTC4PPGBP failed to deliver the said BTC after I made a payment.  This was a test transaction, to verify this user.  FAIL

The original deal was 4.5 BTC for 88 GBP.  Because BTC4PPGBP refused to go first, we made a deal to test things out with 1 BTC for 19.56 GBP.

Here's where he instructs me to send to his account:

Here's where I sent as instructed:

After waiting several hours and sending him messages, I got this:

BTC4PPGBP has not replied to my messages or emails asking for a refund or BTC to be sent.

DON'T DEAL WITH THIS USER!!!

There's a good handful here and there. Check out tomatocage's "How to spot a scammer" thread in the scam accusations and lending subforums for tips on how to spot fishy behavior. And Paypal is generally a no-no.

this is the first time I have been scammed on here.  Most folks are decent, especially if they have some rep and have been here for while.

If they claim they did not make the transaction then even a gift can be reversed.

if you did make the transaction, then this is technically fraud.  So, if the person that received the gift has some record of you claiming to send the transaction, Paypal could shut down your account.

I don't know if it ever happens like that, but it is something to consider.

It seems like the best way to get a hold of BTC is to use one of the online traders that have good reputation. I've heard that www.bitcopia.com is pretty solid.

I was actually scammed yesterday as well....tried to sell a kid some Xbox LIVE codes and, like a bonehead, didn't do escrow. They just took the codes and ran Sad so....for future reference, don't ever trade with slikroad632.

Anyone know of any other places that have good reps?

Thanks again Bitbears. You are the best Smiley
