That happened many decades ago. Go to inner London, and you will find more mosques than churches. Now they are spreading out to the Outer London area as well. What happened to Detoilet is happening with London right now. There is a massive white flight. The whites are not fleeing to other parts of England. On the other hand, they are fleeing to other countries such as Australia, Canada, and the United States.

i'm in hampstead and you dont really notice it here, but 15 minutes walk down the hill and its pretty bad. still holding out hope for brexit and trump.

I don't think that either Brexit or Trump will make much of a difference. On the other hand, it might make matters worse. Brexit might stop the flow of blue-collar workers from European countries such as Poland and Romania. This might necessitate increased immigration from third world countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nigeria.

And it's only the beginning.
I don't know much about muslims in London, but I've been living in countries where I was part of a minority group. The muslims are a minority in London, but it's a huge signal now that one of them is in the town hall. They will not feel they're a minority anymore. The fully veiled women who are currently only in muslim neighborhoods will be all over the city in a few years.

2 years ago, I would have laughed at anyone telling me that Boris would be replaced by a muslim, but it has happened.

It is true that Muslims discriminate against adherents from the other religions. However, Jews and Christians are given preferential treatment, since they are also "people of the book" (Jews given even more rights, when compared to the Christians). The worst treatment is meted out to the "pagans" and idol worshipers, such as Yazidis, Hindus, and the Animists.
