I don't think he's buying them, but you shouldn't have a hard time selling BTC for $10 each. Wink Hell, I'd buy them from you at that rate if you're willing to either send first or use an escrow.

OP: You might have some difficulty moving these quickly if you're only accepting the standard rate. I only mention that since you want them gone tonight. I would also be careful accepting Paypal from anyone that does not have a good track record.

I already mentioned this, but with needing them gone tonight and requiring the buyer to send first? Getting the standard rate on those coins will be very difficult.

I don't care how trusted anyone is, I'm not sending first. If anyone goes wrong then im bummbered! At least you have PayPal on ur side!!!

Tell you what, we can do the deal 0.25 BTC at a time.

You send 0.25 BTC, then I'll send $7 PayPal.
Then you send another 0.25 BTC, and then I'll send another $7 PayPal.
We continue until you've sent all the BTC.

That way if I fail to send at any time, the most you lose is $7, but if I want to continue to receive the discounted BTC, the only way to do so is for me to continue sending.

$7 per 0.25 BTC = $28/BTC = $470.40 for all of it.  You get an extra $0.40 more than my initial offer that way as well.

This (and my previous) offer are only good until 2013-02-24 06:00:00 UTC

Exactly.

I don't need to scam to make a profit, because unlike the OP, I'm not in a hurry.

I can take the 16.8 BTC that I purchase for $470.40 and list them on MtGox for $30/BTC.
When they sell I get $504 for them.

$504 - $470.40 = $33.60 profit for me.

Why would I try to scam $7 by not paying, when I can easily make $33 by being honest.

There is no financial incentive for me to scam with this deal, and every incentive for me to keep making the promised payments.

Come on, I'm trying to make a profitable deal for myself here, and you've got to come in and outbid me?  Grin

Bummer.

OP, If for any reason you prefer not to deal with TangibleCryptography, my offer is still good.

The offer has now expired. If you are still interested, you can post in this thread or send a PM, and I'll make a new offer.

For now, given your lack of interest, I'll assume you were never honestly interested in selling your bitcoin.  Perhaps you were just craving some attention, or perhaps you were hoping to pull off some sort of scam, but clearly you didn't "need to get rid of them ASAP tonight!".

SCAMMER ALERT: BTC4PPGBP

User BTC4PPGBP is a scammer.  After agreeing to a fair price yesterday for 1 BTC, user BTC4PPGBP failed to deliver the said BTC after I made a payment.  This was a test transaction, to verify this user.  FAIL

The original deal was 4.5 BTC for 88 GBP.  Because BTC4PPGBP refused to go first, we made a deal to test things out with 1 BTC for 19.56 GBP.

Here's where he instructs me to send to his account:

Here's where I sent as instructed:

After waiting several hours and sending him messages, I got this:

BTC4PPGBP has not replied to my messages or emails asking for a refund or BTC to be sent.

DON'T DEAL WITH THIS USER!!!

I assumed as such as the post above confirms it.

Both BitInstant and FC4B offers methods to get PayPal for BTC.  Generally the only reason to NOT use those services if because you want a higher rate.  People generally understand if they want top dollar it is going to require trust/escrow and some time.   Someone not wanting to use a reputable service AND "needing" to sell immediately AND not willing to go first or use escrow is almost always a scam (or attempted scam).
