A lot of people would ask him for a donation.
LOL. that's an unique thought. are you sure he will donate to a lot of people asking for it?  Grin

if he would return, perhaps he will bring new sollution for what he has failed.

Ask lottery winners, what happens, when public knows they're rich. First is donation spamming. Then out of the blue investors will come to explain how they could invest. Oh, and there will be people trying to simply steal their money.

Bitcoin is not a bubble, it's the pin!

If satoshi returned he would say that he is craig, and that is not a joke. But if he will really return, I think he will do some improvements regarding
bitcoin and he would open an investment for bitcoins and directly holding by him.

You are right. If satoshi does come back, he probably won't have an influence on most people, but some people might, which could really effect bitcoin.

My opinion, even if it is declared a real Satoshi nothing to Bitcoin is not going to happen. Yes, most beginners may succumb to panic and HYIP because of bloating conflicting information media, and sell their part. But most also did not respond. Bitcoin is already fully grown and used, it is almost independent, decentralized.

Looking at what happened so far with Craig, I would say the attacks on him will increase in magnitude of x10. The media and shills will go into over drive and will try to take him down. They will link him to every bad thing possible to make his life a living nightmare.

Once they had their share of him, the official government gears will be set in motion against him. He will be charged with things like Tax evasion and industrial sabotage or whatever trump up charge they can think up.

Whilst that is done, hackers will try to get to his/her coins and people will break into his/her properties in an attempt to get to his or her private keys. The family members will need 24/7 protection against possible kidnappers.

nothing is going to happen and nothing will change if satoshi returns, people should really stop making a god out of satoshi and start to realize what anonymity is and how open source programming works. satoshi created bitcoin and others have been developing it ever since. even if satoshi comes back he will only be one developer.

Weak hands have been complaining about missing out ever since bitcoin was $1 and never buy the dip.
Whales are those who keep buying the dip.

My opinion is that it will not affect the price of bitcoin even though satoshi will return and gonna reveal himself.
But it depends on satoshi on how he will going to move any codes in bitcoins.

In terms of development nothing would change. We would keep going the way we are on now.
Of course he/she/they would get flooded with questions like: "Do you still have the private keys for the ~ 1million coins?"
"If yes what are you going to do with ith?" and many more.
Maybe he/she/they would get arrested by or kidnapped by some agencies?Who knows!
I hope we will never know who Satoshi really is.It's better for all of us.

Nothing would happen I think. People at least I would not care that much if Satoshi returned or not. I would go on with Bitcoin like nothing changed at all and I am sure that most poeple would not care.

I think it is good if we will know who created bitcoin even though we all know that it is not only him.
Of course he has a team that worked with him.

I don't think it will change anything because he can't do anything about it now. It can only goes
wrong if people don't like him and they don't want to use his coin. But that won't happen.

We've had those attempts of donation spams and investment-scams before. My mother has a successful, small but growing business and flocks of people are always asking for donations and investments. They are non stop. Different people and different brands every time. Plus, I've personally had those Nigeria-based email spams asking me to invest in their program and all. I just laughed myself off.

It is obvious that nothing significant will happen. We all Satoshi, all in our hands. Satoshi Personality no longer matter to Bitcoin. The system is constructed and operates in a decentralized manner.

But if there is a view of the personality of Satoshi, he was nominated for the Nobel Prize. And if he does, he will get  think.

There are many scenarios what will potentially could happen with Satoshi's return:

1. It will be the hottest topic on the internet and news about bitcoin will be spreading like crazy. Satoshi will become worldwide known celebrity.
2. Bitcoin market will be shaken - people will be afraid that Satoshi will move his coins.

These two options are 100% realistic and most likely to happen. But overall cons of revealing himself are far greater than pros for Satoshi.

I think it will not affect at all since bitcoin now can work with their own without Satoshi interfere.
If Satoshi try to make some movement, I think it's value only get move little by little
