Yup, it's very hard to get real upvotes on Steemit, no mather how good and high quality is your post! I have seen really good posts counting 2 or 3 upvotes and crap posts counting hundreds of upvotes! That is all due to whales who are only upvoting if they have something to gain! |

I have been waiting for a month for my steem it account. Unfortunately there is no estimated time for new registered accounts. I suggested a lot of friends to join, some of them are accepted in 3 days, some of them had to wait for 3 weeks. Finally price is ok to buy more Steem for power-up. |

There are too many bounty campaigns that ignore Steemit! It's always Reddit, Twitter, Facebook... I'm a fan of Steemit and being built on top of the blockchain we need to use it as default social media for cryptocurrency! If you are struggling with upvotes, try to get traffic to your steemit-article via other sources, like google (SEO), youtube, forums, Facebook, your own website,... I think later when many people have a steemit-account you will get much more upvotes than now. I did have a few errors yesterday where it said 'accounts didn't exist' or something like that, but it seems to have since corrected itself. |

LOL, who else is getting bored with Steemit now. Are you guys also witnessing a drastic drop in upvotes to minnows? Things were still better just a few months ago, but now it's just the shit posts at the top and quality authors are not even getting bread crumbs!! I am thinking of leaving Steemit. It has been 1 year, and things have gone from bad to worse. Yes, the prices of the Steem and SBD have increased many folds, but that's the case with most other currencies. As for the upvotes, I think it is easy to get upvotes if you make groups and do the vote for vote shit; or do the traditional, effective whale ball licking; but there is no genuine curation going on. Anyone else here feels demotivated to use the Steemit platform?
