Newer platforms like https://swirge.com got more features than just blogging. The project looks promising.

It would be nice if you provided some further info about the project if you want people from Steemit to actually give it a try. Just dropping a link won't cut it

Any idea behind the reason for this delist ?!
Usually low volume and price collapse. Both apply to Steem.

Usually low volume and price collapse. Both apply to Steem. exactly as I am saying. more exchange will soon follow it and delist as Binance says also they are delisting steem soon in the future you will have no place to come to sale your steems. its better to the sale in now before more big delisting comes

Any idea behind the reason for this delist ?!
Usually low volume and price collapse. Both apply to Steem. Do you think other big exchanges will follow the decision of Poloniex and Binance (I'm not totally sure about Binance) to delist them? Will Upbit and Bittrex (2nd and 3rd exchanges based on volume being traded for Steem) follow suit in removing Steem in their platforms? I'm actually feeling the opposite of it. There are some decent progress being provided by the Steem developers (SMT and PISF) and they are materializing right now. Being an active trader, buying this coin right now has a good risk in it. All people are saying they need to sell this coin and that is one of the many indicatives that I have that point me into the direction of buying this coin instead.

Where did they say that? Judging from the user's post history, he is just making stuff up on the spot to increase his post count...

Where did they say that? Judging from the user's post history, he is just making stuff up on the spot to increase his post count... im saying Binance will follow all the big exchanges will just like Poloniex. you can trust me when im saying it. obvious they will announce it soon right. The big whale have come and gone now with Steemit and the cash cow is milk. We can expect it to fall to .5 cent in coming days maybe even minuet. Its better to sale it before more whale can exit the scam

Where did they say it or are you indeed a liar as claimed?

quick question to @smooth .. do you know but not a show stopper to me at least it is not since I can connect to remote nodes for transactions, is it possible to fast sync and not on ssd drive steem chain (similar to eth with the --fast switch that syncs the chain local and allows transactions to proceed) again not a show stopper since remote works super well! thanks so much in advance!
aaand best performing coin in the recent small push (together with monero) both I sport in portfolio, thanks above for the double negative tip lol

There is no fast sync but if you sync on one system (say a fast/expensive cloud node you rent for several hours), clean shutdown, and copy the shared memory file and block log to another system, it will work, even if the second system is much slower, has a lot less memory, doesn't have SSD, etc. They probably need to have the same OS, compiler versions, etc. Added: To be sure, there is a limit to this. The second system can't have really low memory and no SSD because the swapping will be too slow to keep up with the network. But either low memory or non-SSD will work. If you can't meet that minimum you'll have to use a remote node.

Newer platforms like https://swirge.com got more features than just blogging. The project looks promising. With this UI, Swirge doesn't have any real chances to be a competitor of Steemit nor Medium. But what is more important, Steemit itself is proving that this business model is tough to support. Still, it's better than nothing for the authors.

New update from the steemit team regarding Smart Media Tokens, Communities, PISFs, Canonical URL: You just place this info here to pump it up and dump it up usual tactics. You can see on chart the downward motions and it’s making a way to .5 cent true value. BEWARE to everyone. This coin SALE IT while you can and more exchange delist comes in affect.

But I dont think Swirge is a competitor to Steemit or Medium. Steemit is a competitor to Medium because they are both blogging sites. https://swirge.com is more than a blogging platform. It aims to be a full fledged social media Platform while rewarding its users. Nothing is easy. But better to support good developments and with time see how they grow and improve.
