Difficulty swings dramatically in TRC now.  It could be a timing issue - look at the block count to see which site is quicker.

NVC has been added to the list (don't DDoS the messenger  Wink).  It is currently 70% more profitable to mine than LTC.

How is it more profitable to mine than LTC?

But only LiteCoin will still be around 1 year later.

PPcoin will be fine.

Assuming Dust has the same issues I have, you need a true exchange that alows converting the alt to BTC  to calc out the profitability.  I actually added BTE to my site, but the lack of a true exchange with an API makes it a large hassle.  Even adding Freicoin (which requires two exchanges to get to BTC) was hassle enough.

I dont understand why not all altcoins are put into ripple. Then there should create an exchange course that could be used here. But im asking myself... if there isnt even an exchange that bothers to include such coin... who will buy such coins then? I mean you can only turn it to bitcoins if you can sell it.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Terracoin has forked, looks like the site is still displaying data from the wrong fork.

If so, you are on old, now abandoned TRC blockchain. Gratz for being ignorant on notices and warnings about mandatory upgrade! Grin

I think he means my site at http://www.coinchoose.com.  Is that one wrong as well?  It uses the block explorer at http://cryptocoinexplorer.com:3750

I was talking about http://www.coinchoose.com there. However, now my terracoind shows a different difficulty (11663.00545825) than that site (25435.61495618385) for block 110417. The difference was much smaller when I first checked.

BTW, can anyone explain why terracoind shows the difficulty of the last block, not the difficulty of the next block to be generated? This can be easily observed when comparing the network difficulty from cgminer and from terracoind getdifficulty. Is this just working as intended, I realize it wouldn't matter so much for BTC and other chains that don't retarget frequently.

TRC explorer and my node 0.1.3-38 = block 110407 difficulty 11939.784 but 27008.146945855326 on your website, so something is not right on your side.

I average out the difficulty on TRC over the past hour - so it is different.  This accounts for the wild swings (since miners don't usually hope off each minute), but open to other suggestions

I believe the recent fork was made precisely because of that problem, so the swings should be much milder now. No idea of the exact details, though.

I'll remove the smoothing and see how things look.

Looking at the stats on coinotron each block has a different difficulty, so averaging them out seems sensible to me.

It would be nice if the diff would be checked a bit more frequently for TRC specifically. Someone has been gaming the diff and cleaning up the majority of blocks for days now, it's hard for people that aren't solo mining to really see the issue playing out.

Anyways, excellent service.

This site is excellent, thanks for this contribution!

You might consider adding FeatherCoin... looks like it's gained a little following already.

Hmm, this site is telling me that TRC is up 300%, and telling me I would mine 27coins/day. Yet after a night of mine at higher than normal speeds I only mined 4. I pretty sure something is off with the site
