When is generally the best time to buy bitcoin? Personally, I think the best time would be around now as the Bitcoin halving is coming up and experts are predicting the prices to flare up.  On the other hand, when is the best time to sell BTC? How long should I hold before I sell. Thanks for your comments. |

Now would be a good time to buy in, its never too late to start out.
There are many theories on what the bitcoin price may do once halving occurs but I really don't see it dropping at all.
Buy now and hold for at least 1 year, after that time you will know what to do
It would also be a good idea to buy a few extra coins to spend and help move the btc economy along. You will probably come across some great bargains too.

use your instinct and predict when is bitcoin will up or down, it's about your luck,bitcoin's price can't be predicted because it is uncertain,if you do saw on the internet about theories when is bitcoin price will rise or down, it's still just a theory,it have the chance to be wrong in the future,and the chance is 50%,so ya can't determine the exact time

the best time to buy is when you see the market fucking stable like it is now and like it was at 230, don't do the same mistake as those that now are crying because they didn't bought at 230
it's the same shit everytime, when will be at 800 stable, another thread like this will repeat the same thing....
buy always on the "calm before the storm", now it's that time

Buying when the price is low and affordable and selling when the price is high and you can make a nice profit. Buying or selling depends on what the price is at that current moment and it also depends on the person ass well.

I think this time will be the best to buy before it reach halving. My friend already purchase BTC 2 for holding , although halving doesn't guarantee bitcoin value get increase but he believed on bitcoin !

I think you already got a lot of replies and suggestion on when is the best time to buy Bitcoin. I would just like to say that I agree that buying Bitcoin before the halving is a good investment. However, there is still some small risks associated with it. Now. About the best time to sell Bitcoin. My answer would be for you to hold onto your Bitcoin forever. Sometime in the future (maybe not in my generation), cryptocurrencies is going to replace fiat. Hold onto it. Never sell it. Instead say you "use" it. . |

The best time to buy bitcoin is when the price is low and then sell it when the bitcoin price is high.
So thats where I have been going wrong, I had it all back to front. Your wisdom amazes me, are you sure you are not Satoshi or maybe even Einstein himself? But really what do you call a low price and what do you call a high price with such a volatile currency? |

Just by stating that your plan is to buy and to sell for more USD tells me that you're being fueled by greed. You should be using your Bitcoin when you want to purchase goods or services, not convert back to FIAT. On the other hand, when is the best time to sell BTC?

I always keep saying, that the best time to buy bitcoin is "now".
From an investor's perspective, it is always better to buy and store bitcoin for the future use. So that you can sell the bitcoin if needed anytime in future for any emergency.
I am not a trader and hence I am currently accumulating bitcoin.

I will suggest that the best time for buying bitcoin is now, you can buy as much as you can, and for selling i will say that the price will continue to increase for longer time after halving so it depends you, when you need it you can sell them and when you not need you can hold for longer time.

My buying price ranges from $440 - $480. If that window closes too soon, say within this month, I might for an even higher price until $510. I'm not going to go all in, but I will only buy what my budget permits. When do I sell is another waiting game I'm willing to play. The after effects of halving will play a big role on what my decisions will be.

if you want to get into trading bitcoin that is a whole different question because you need to know a lot of things to answer these two questions and do it every day and stay alert all the time to earn profit. but if you want to just buy-hold-sell when it is higher, then I have to say it is good time to buy bitcoin now as long as there is no sudden rise. and sell time is never because as bitcoin becomes more popular you can stop needing fiat and use bitcoin instead. |
