Profitable coin except ETH

Hey guys,

I've been mining DCR since about 2 month. When the price was at 0.005 BTC and the diff. was like 1K it was profitable.

But as the diff reached 2,5K and the price dropped to 0.003 BTC I have like double the energy cost of the outcome...


Therefore I'm looking for another coin that I can mine with GPU's which is more profitable.

I use some older cards with 2 GB Ram... that's the reason why I can't mine ETH.

I use AMD cards.

Any suggestions what I could mine?

What 2GB are you using?

Pretty much nothing is profitable now except ETH. Maybe try EXPANSE.

I use 2 HD 6990 and 2 HD 6970

ETH will mine just fine with 2 gb of ram, the dag is about 1600 mb right now so it will still work for those cards for another 6 months.  You can do decred as you mentioned, feather coin, and digibyte.  There are a few others but ether has the best profit where others are about 40% less or so profit.

only etherue and some coin that are not in exchange but have good potential, like loco maybe? you can try that

I tried this some month ago - and it doesn't work.
I did read forums for more than a week and didn't get it running - so no... it isn't possible atm.

Even if I set max alloc to 100% and do some other modifications it can't create the DAG.

Someone told me that there is a specific driver (which is some years old) which might be working... but that's all venture.

If I would get it running I would mine ETH for sure.. but it's just not possible with those cards.

I got to manage mine running ETH too now.
I have got 10,25 MH each card. So Got ~ 61,5 MH.
