bitcoin is already considered to be the international currency, although I think this is not yet fully supported by some state or government. so that the function of bitcoin is still difficult to use as payment, because of the scarcity of stores that accept bitcoin.
Agreed. If it's something that's accepted in several parts of the world, it's considered an international currency. The great barrier that prevents it from being a "popular" international currency is its being relatively unknown and the lack of actual merchants that would accept it as payment locally.

Things will change in future when more users will start using it and once adoption level goes higher we will see many merchants accepting bitcoin as a mode of payment.

It is already an international currency. People are using it instead of boring bank transfers to get their money across the globe.

Bitcoin is designed to be an international currency and it has all the criteria to be an international currency. I can't see why it won't be.
i think if bitcoin going to be international currency it must all of people knowed it as well like fiat. So bitcoin is'nt international currency now, may someday it'll happen.

Scarcity and the limited access to bitcoin, we need internet to be able to use this currency which most 3rd world countries has a hard time to have. Most of them doesn't even have any computer to be able to access bitcoin.

That's right! Most people know us fiat(usdollar) even poor, mid and rich level people know it. So the first requirement to classify bitcoin as an international currency is it should be well-known by most people.

Yes, it is a prerequisite of becoming international  currency however I think we must rectify it as international virtual currency.

In many countries people didn't even here a word - bitcoin, so bitcoin is very far to become an internatioinal currency, it's already reach a goal - the best crypto currency and it's okay. But i don't really think that's it will move far in 2 years for sure.
But, making people aware of bitcoin would be a just a week time of work.

Technologists are always faster than fire to spread out.
15 years back no one knows about mobile phone around the World except some developed countries. But, now even in undeveloped countries' village a man also using 4G mobile phone.

In my view bitcoin will spreadout more faster than mobile technology after a kick start.
A kick start = higher bitcoin price.
Bitcoin will become international currency when more number of people are adopting it. As you said when people are in demand they will definitely learn and adopt new technologies like mobile phone. So, when people need some freedom with their money then bitcoins will definitely will become international currency.

I think bitcoin has become an international currency, but bitcoin not really legalized by each country. bitcoin only become an alternative currency.
I hope in the future of bitcoin really become the currency that is accepted around the world
I think bitcoin not need legalization of various countries? as long as the country does not prohibit the use of bitcoin. then bitcoin will grow in many countries like now. bitcoin has become a global currency when in use by a wide range of the world's population.

If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

bitcoin is already a international currency you dont need to exchange it for a specific
currency to be used, but bitcoin has a very limited usage considering that it is not that
popular among the stores world wide but you can still use it in some who is accepting
bitcoin.
As you said bitcoin has already become the 'currency' as we need not to exchange it to use it. But the definitions for the international currency would be different. At the same time, we can assume bitcoin as a people's international currency.

Bitcoin is a digital currency but in order to be called a thing as currency it should regulated with the law of a certain country. Bitcoins is not regulated because it is decentralized, and the thing is we don't need it to be regulated as we know already the value of it. Government adoption is not necessary if it the defeat the purpose of transparency and anonymity.

Bitcoin is already international used and you can see that because there are more people that will get to know about Bitcoin so that is nice for the currency.
But there are still a lot of people that dont even know what Bitcoin is and that have to change.

Yeah we need to make aware people around us about bitcoin and that will really help in increasing the market cap of bitcoin and it should get recognition at global level.

Bitcoin is already international used and you can see that because there are more people that will get to know about Bitcoin so that is nice for the currency.
But there are still a lot of people that dont even know what Bitcoin is and that have to change.
i think if bitcoin already international currency it must all of people must know it, like us dollar. I think bitcoin just global currency until now. May someday it will.

Indeed if it wants to be a global known currency it needs a lot more publicity and getting a lot more popular.
I do not think it can be to be honest, banks will doing everything to stop this for sure.

Bitcoin can never be international currency as price is too low and majority of  people  are not aware about it so it will take a long time to become an international currency.

You are right, there are lot of possibilities for bitcoin to be international currency how mobile phone has become a part of everyday life. Because bitcoin has all the reason and features to be part of the person's life so it can be international currency in near time.

No friend when you search about bitcoin history then you will believe on  the bitcoin is international currency but some people are not know about bitcoin and I hope very soon will come famous in world.

It can be a international currency in future but as of now its just an digital currency, and when majority of people will start using it then it will become international currency.

Yes, it is, but only some people know bitcoin and use bitcoin. So it's become useless if bitcoin become an international currency but only some people use bitcoin,.
