I wish I'd logged on and spotted this sooner. I just installed Bitcoin, but have no bitcoins yet and need to acquire some. Mining appears to require dedicated machines these days; too much work. So I have to buy them or figure out something to sell for them... Pity that none of the auction houses let you pay in bitcoins, or I could auction off the pile of duplicate books that my husband and I need to get rid of.

Actually, that's an idea.... It would give me somewhere to try this whole thing out, deal with the technical, legal, and financial issues, and not sink too much money or time into it.

Price back up to $25 already.
Which is 7 dollars less than what it was yesterday.

Which is 7 dollars less than what it was yesterday. And twice what it was June 3rd. What's your point?

Did somebody say...the price is crashing?
Kiba, no one said bubble. Sheesh, as if you don't have enough opportunities to link that particular comic.

This is a very volatile market. If it were to crash I'd expect it to happen in only a few hours.

Seriously, calm down. Markets are about as stable as anti-matter these days, but they have always trended upwards and unless you have reason to think they won't, they'll continue to do so. Justr because the fall from $30 to $20 feels like more than a fall from $1.00 to $0.66, doesn't mean it's not exactly the same. This has happened many times now: you'll just make the daytraders richer if you 'cut your losses' IMHO. SIR, I detect use of both hyperbole and... INCORRECT IMAGE TAGS! Fixed for you. TAKE 2!

SIR, I detect use of both hyperbole and... INCORRECT IMAGE TAGS! Fixed for you. Sorry about that. I don't think I'm being hyperbolic though: if you check the history bitcoin did pretty much the same % "flood crash" on many an occasion. I'm not one of these chart voodooist "everything is cyclical" types, I'm just using the evidence available to me because I don't think the social situation has changed at all.

ar har.... so, based on the definitely correct info from above, I should wait until then and then buy every single bitcoin I can and profit in both USD and bitcoin! Nothing wrong with that idea!
