Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Bitcoins down to 15 bux. Still think the price isn't crashing? Ignoring evidence doesn't make you correct.

I'm posting this from my spare account because I don't want to be hated by the other early miners...
I'm selling my 50k BTC in staggered amounts starting from tonight, and hopefully my impact on the market will be limited.
It's just not worth sitting on this kind of uncertainty anymore.

And I'll be there to pick up what you've foolishly decided to liquidate. Just promise me you won't come back on the board crying when it trades above $100, okay? Thanks.

I'll buy some of that on Tuesday when my funds clear. Thanks for needlessly selling because you're scared of volatility.

I would agree that selling some of your 50k bitcoins is actually a smart move. Being too greedy can leave you with nothing.

Could have been better timed if I discovered and bumped this a month ago or so. I like how the dudes who sold are still noobs whereas the guys who didn't are Legendary.

Yes, I agree with this. When dealing with money and finance, people are usually not rational but emotional. So, when price is going down, this is perfect opportunity to buy and earn more, when price goes up. but, instead of this, people in panic selling everything and loosing any chance for good earning.

History tells a different story. Since your post we have seen Bitcoin get to over $1000 US dollars. As I write this, the price of Bitcoin is $400 US dollars. What can you learn from your incorrect assumption? Prices of markets go up and down, that is the nature of markets.

I wonder what that guy might be thinking of right now. Holding onto 50k would have made him or her a multimillionaire by now. It's amazing how fast things can move and change and that is only probably like 3 years only.

I'm going to hold my 3 bitcoins and hope that in 5 years somebody bumps this again trying to prove that no time is a good time to sell bitcoin until it has destroyed fiat. Then you don't sell, you just spend it.

You can chastise somebody for comments they made 3 years ago, but the fact remains, they were here back then and we weren't. So, obviously they were on to something.
