Poloniex is freezing accounts

Poloniex is busy freezing my account they assume I am using several accounts for trading. Anyone having the same problem ?

I am only using one account on Poloniex, there might be a person with the same surname in my town who uses another account but this is not me.
The problem is they actually can accuse anyone of using multiple accounts and just freeze them.

Why you use multiple accounts ?
I use polonix from long time , and I didn't find any problems with this exchange , it is very fast in deposit and withdraw , but I don't see any benefit from using more than one account .

Then you need to contact them and prove that you only have one account. They ask for name and surname - so unlikely someone in your area has both in your town.

Would it really be name based? I'd assume it was all IP. I think they're only going to get more anal as they get bigger. Some serious turnover is churning around on there now.

Some people use more than one account because the trading is limited to 2000 US $ if you do not have a fully verified account.

But that they don't allowed as mentioned in their TOS. So they will ban if they find both of those are actively involved in trading. I am only using one account and have never got any problem from them till now. Its better to get verified rather than creating multiple account if you have more than 2000$ to trade.

I expect they have risk management algorithms operating. Same name, email and IP = ban. large amounts of coins being deposited on similarish accounts = ban. etc

I'm always surprised that people feel the need to have more than one account on an exchange when they could spread their money on different exchanges - there are so many. You can trade ether on poloniex, bittrex, kraken, btc-e, gemini.

From your own personal risk management point of view you are better spreading money across the exchanges instead of concentrating on just one and experiencing a Cryptsy like meltdown.

I think that it is not allowed to have more than one account on the poloniex exchange, you can merge the accounts to only one account, try to contact a moderator on the trollbox.

Meh I dont use this shit exchange and havent for a long time now.   They do so much dodgy shit and pander to thieves.   Far too many scams in regards to IPOs and pathetic shills who shill and spam so much - qibuck and futuretrader are by far the worse liars and theives going around on that site.

Didn't receive any info from help-desk so far (more than 24 hours) two tickets open and the troll-box does not handle locked accounts. Maybe the are running low on cash ?

Trollbox operators dont handle locked accounts, 2 outstanding tickets so far. Rather strange.
