There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

LTCR has no big network like Bitcoin, the best thing to do is to stop mining and transaction on the old blockchain!
The information was sent to yobit and others before the new chain was activated.
I don't think you'll have problem widthrawing from yobit on the new chain because the wallet was offline before the new chain started.

Yeah I stopped mining but still have transactions sent from http://yiimp.ccminer.org that never went to my wallet.
They couldn't figure out what was going on. Maybe you can talk to them ? I'm out the money I spent on miningrigrentals and can't get the coins I mined.

I was the same as you previously, but before I upgrade to the new wallet, I had backup:
  • Blockchain data directory
    • Windows:  C:\Users\MyUser\AppData\Roaming\litecred\..
    • Linux:  /home/myuser/.litecreed/..
  • include litecred.conf
  • and also wallet.dat into another directory (folder)

Then I start running the new wallet as Litecred Wallet version 1.2.1.0: NextGen until blockchain fully sync'd.
I tried to mine some, and got some blocks.

FYI:
Under page 3 in this thread, there an info from @steve321 about downloadable Litecred blockchain data from http://cryptochainer.com/
Or you may instant go to here: http://cryptochainer.com/dir/?page_id=881, and find Litecred.

*** DO NOT FORGOT ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR WALLET FIRST (wallet.dat) ***

As mention at the OP:

OR, this steps might be more easy and fast to sync..

Let us know with your results..

Cheers!

                                          +-----{need: mining-pools}

@Stein I have small time, but let me try to describe in simple graph above, that will tell us:

  • If you still have your previous wallet v1.2.0.0 and will decide to running on the Old Blockchain data, then:

    • You need download the from Cryptochainer.com http://216.14.113.56/cryptochainer.chains/chains/litecred_blockchain.zip
    • Then run your previous wallet v1.2.0.0
    • There is no guarantee after your prev wallet is fully sync'd, you might receive or might not receive your mined coins from yiimp pool after people decided to use the new blockchain. Because we not sure the yiimp pool status or any exchanges status in Litecred network and/or under which chain.

  • If you decide to moving on with the new wallet, current at v1.2.1.0

    • then you may leave your coins in yiimp pool, and you might take a look once more at here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1317122.msg14847256#msg14847256,
    • As the same situation, in this chain we are in the middle of no where also, because existing mining pools and exchanges are not even try to upgrade their wallet to the latest version and sync with the new chain.

I'm sorry to tell about this situation, but this is the real thing happen on Litecred network.

We should decide and moving forward!
Tell loud to people, contacting and push some mine pools and exchanges.

** Maybe someone may help to describes more clearly or cmiiw..

That's all I think.

EDIT:
Downloaded the wallet from that link above
and applied your OLDblockchain. It downloaded the missing coins from Yiimpool but NOT the new coins that I had.

So how do I get them to all be on the same blockchain ?[/list]

Dude, I'm really not so sure when people are start moving to the new chain.
Let say begin from this thread date https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1317122.msg14847256#msg14847256 (about May 14th).

Then since that moment, we (LTCR) may feel to have 2 blockchains database (for wallet v1.2.0.0 and v1.2.1.0), but based on prev blockchain database.
=> It's because not for every people start using new version of wallet v1.2.1.0, and some are still using previous version of wallet v1.2.1.0.

Take a look in the graph or schema in previous post. You might found the (?) the question-mark sign.

  • When you deal to mine with pool which are still using prev version of wallet since that moment, then any transactions you may not have it when you sync the wallet with another chain.  Cry
  • But the earlier coins before that moment, will stay in wallet. Because I still have my earlier coins, whenever I tried sync use the prev wallet or the new of latest wallet. Grin

** The important thing is always backup, before up/downgrading. Wink
