Yeah well, most of us get paid in fiat and buy things that are priced in fiat...so unless bitcoin has an actual problem that it's a solution to, it's not going to get widely adopted.  It is useful as a store of value, like precious metals, but as a currency it absolutely sucks.  That's my opinion.  I would much rather spend dollars than bitcoin, and it's much, much easier to do so.

the bitcoins will surely change the world financial System very soon.

I think bitcoin definitely has the potential to change the financial system, even if that means just causing some healthy competition for banks. However there are many hurdles to cross before we can even think of becoming a mainstream payment method.

I also think that the bitcoin can rise to a high and nice world system, its just a matter of time in my eyes.
There is a good chance that this will happen.

Yes, bitcoin can definitely change the world's financial system but only if the governments do NOT interfere with bitcoin with their fancy rules and regulations. I highly doubt a chance of it due to the constant increase in terrorism in whole world, terrorists and other illegal activity owners can definitely take an advantage of bitcoin's anonymity.

Bitcoin fans always say that Bitcoin is changing the world.
Everyone I know doesn't care about Bitcoin, like at all, like absolutely not at all.
There are 1-2 million Bitcoin users in the world. That's like one grain of sand on an utterly huge shore.
HOWEVER it is a brilliant experiment, and I think it's absolutely fascinating.

Much could be done with Bitcoin, but it's not really used all that much. That's not exactly setting the world on fire.

Am I wrong? Can/will/has it change(d) the world?

Thank you for your posts guys!

Show me a shore containing only 3,562 grains of sand, and I'll show you a child's-pail-sized beach. Make that perhaps a toddler's-[1/4-]spoon-sized beach given that ~7,692,000 grains of sand fill one cup.

3,281,579 Grains of Sand (~1/2 cup)

To address the question posed, yes. Bitcoin, moreover the underlining blockchain and its past, present and future variants, will change the world's financial system as we currently know it. That's why the nefarious actors overseeing the sector are quick to embrace the technology. SHIT! What the fuck were we tricked into creating? Excuse me while I make like an ostrich and hunt for some loose sand.

"Well, that was a bad idea. Now I'll uncovered the nascent Financial Dark Web (FDW)."

It can change the world in the future. Maybe in the future every transactions that will be done is using bitcoin. They don't need to carry their wallets while shopping instead they will carry their phones to easily pay using bitcoin. Well thats a possibility we cannot now for sure if it will happen or not.

I also think there is a chance of doing this with some years that it needs of course, if it stays growing this can be done.

I think it is not impossible, but if bitcoin still not accepted by all parties as it is today mainly by the government then I think bitcoin can not change the world's financial system. Thank you

Right now its not reached the level to make changes in the financial system. Lot years are there to reach such a state in which it'll be having more users than the present. Another important thing is that bitcoin technology might be adopted by finance groups soon.

Thanks Bitcoin and blokchain, the world economy can now be developed without reference to the usual restrictions in the form of borders and national barriers.
Bitcoin exists beyond the control of any kind were State nationalities and borders. Because of its decentralized nature and the ease of implementation of transactions within the network, it is available to any user with access to the Internet, wherever he was. The creation of this technology has led to what is now the global financial system is becoming less dependent on territorial boundaries.

Bitcoin will certainly change the world's financial system, its structure and how it's managed. It'll also get rid of loads of banks whose role it is now to scam us out of our savings via their convenient fractional reserve banking system.

Bitcoin have the potential to change. It just needs a bit of a push.

Well, many great things started in a small way and most people didn't notice any change.
Look at the beginning of Microsoft, Internet or Facebook.
It took long time, a lot hard work and dedication that this projects become big and spread all over the world,
It's the same with bitcoin.
Yes, it seems just a few people using bitcoin, nobody really cares, no real changes yet etc.
But, Bitcoin already created big revolution in the concept of money, payments, financial freedom even if most people are not aware yet.
Such idea will grow day by day and eventually become mainstream, it's inevitably.
Why?
Because bitcoin is the future and today's currencies and money in the world are already history Smiley

We wouldn't see the instant changes bitcoin is doing because bitcoin has only been in circulation for 5 or 6 years more or less. Besides, the only ones using bitcoin are the people that has interest in it. If bitcoin does receive actual government recognition and adoption, only then we can see the effects of bitcoin and it may change the world's financial system slowly.

I suppose it could. I believe bitcoin could shake the world economy, the current bitcoin not be underestimated, because bitcoin has become an important part in the transaction. many countries that accept bitcoin, bitcoin is because most likely they can make financial economy changed, and I'm sure it will bring a positive impact.
