As per the question is coinbase a safer wallet than blockchain
In my opinion the blockchain is best then anyone wallet because blockchain is official wallet for the bitcoin . But here no doubt that there are many wallets which are proving the blockchain with less facilities because many of the wallets are having best feature than blockchain . Here my best wallet is myscellium and zebpay and coinbase . But here if you are using coinbase then you should be careful that you shouldn't have the btcjam account with the same email I'd , because if your btcjam account is hacked by anyone then probably he can steal all of your bitcoin . Since I never came in this type of problem but recently one of my friend said the same words for coinbase . For newbie coinbase is better charge free .

If you are using an online wallet that is the risk you have to take, they can be hacked or taken down either way the customers will be losing their coins and since the coins are not insured there is no way to get those back.So always save your coins in you personal wallet either hardware wallet or paper wallet if you are having a huge amount of coins.

In my opinion the blockchain is best then anyone wallet because blockchain is official wallet for the bitcoin . What are you talking about? Blockchain.info is not and never was official bitcoin wallet. You are probably confused by the name "Blockchain" and mixed it with bitcoin's blockchain, these are completely different things. The closest wallet we can call an official Bitcoin Wallet is Bitcoin Core, originally developed by Satoshi himself.

Yes agree, I am user of coinbase about 2 years, and until now have never found a problem. Certainly by activating 2FA is the best solution to increase security, but we must be aware that the web wallet is not secure 100%, so coinbase I use to store bitcoin no more than 10 btc.

You are maybe actually right that coinbase has safe wallet to store any bitcoin. But there are so many issues that pops up from their forum, reddit and even here that there are many people experienced those issues. Just don't store there with huge amounts or else you know all the consequenses.

Same here , I am also a Coinbase user about 1years plus. I am using it smoothly, Till now i never found any issue using coinbase Wallet. I also set up Two Factor Authentication for higher security. Coinbase wallet is safe and secure until the site turned into the scam. 10 Bitcoin is huge money man. For storing 10 BTC in coinbase wallet is not safe and secure. You can use hardware and desktop wallet for storing 10 BTC . Those wallet are 100% safe i have heared.

I'm not a coinbase user but by the looks of it, it a safe on-line wallet for everyone. For security purpose, I believe its the individual responsibility to secure whatever wallet she/he has. If you are storing huge amount of bitcoins in coinbase, its your responsibility to take security precautions specially when you are using computer or phones to access once account. Activating 2FA is an added security measures to protect yourself, although recently hackers has found a way to bypass it as well.

As a user of coinbase personally i love their 2FA security support.I'm using their service over 4 years long still all are going smoothly, never facing any little bit problem but i support you it's not good at all.I mean all online wallet will be failed give you 100% security in long term.Only web wallet will promise security issue.

As a user of bitcoin,I hate to see the fact people are still stuck with exchange wallets. There's a difference, the wallet you carry in your pocket and the wallet your bank gives you.You only have control over only one of them.2Fa and shit is okay but what's the point of all that when they can simply suspend your accounts without your permissions.

Its a safe wallet if you do not plan on conducting any dubious activities to have your account locked as the company holds your funds other than that great wallet with good security.

As we saw these days with the Central Bank of China, i see this problem with regulated exchanges like coinbase, if the country regulator wants to suspend your account coinbase will block it. This can't happen if you control your bitcoins (with a paper wallet, software wallet or hardware wallet).

Despite all the security features we activate, there will always be a way for hackers to steal bitcoin. I believe coinbase is a nice wallet because it was listed on the official site bitcoin.org, but we also have to be rational because of the many negative news and experiences from the user coinbase who has ever stolen.

Well, It used to be. I used to see praises towards coinbase left and right. But now they're a big pile of cow dung.
We migrated there a month ago and it was the worst experience ever. We shouldn't have left Paxful. JFC

This is the only the thing why I do hesitate to use such site because I don't really have the possession of my own wallet keys which do really suck when theres a problem on the site and you cant really access your bitcoins anymore.Speaking about legitimacy they are indeed legit and been operating for how many years and regarding on account security they do have it too but yet they do have still some issues from its users just like on sudden blocking of the accounts.I haven't experienced it yet so I cant make a word on it but one assumption that they might really violate rules listed on the ToS.

Quite opposite on what I experienced on their android app as its buggy to the point that it doesn't even let me copy my bitcoin address and yes it also freezes sometimes. I wouldn't call it "secured" as it doesn't even give you your private key so technically you're not in fully control of your funds and is subjected on their policies where changes will be made in the future regardless of your opinion. There's also a bonus of slow support.

Seconded, I have experienced it too on their mobile app which it do really have some bugs which you can even copy your address or even does show some visual glitch for sometime when you are trying to scroll between other accounts. They do have support but its automated and not all issues and questions can really be precisely be answered by that bot.
