I only check preev.com for 99% of the time, the other 1% of the time I'm glancing at the value shown by Coinbase.
The difference between the two is that, if I remember correctly, preev.com shows the average of most exchanges, while Coinbase typically has a slightly inflated value (which could be because of the update time it has).

I check Blockchain.info only as preev.com has become inaccurate after the downtime. The price there has gone below blockchain.info. Except blockchain, you can check bitstamp.net.

Honestly, I would first go to Google and type in BTC to (insert currency here) most of the time and then from there, compare different bitcoin price checkers. It's one of the easiest things (at least for me) I find to check bitcoin's price.

I've found Google's bitcoin price indicator to be inaccurate quite a few times in the past, so I've stopped using it. It looks like it's a couple dollars off at the moment I'm comparing it; has Google made improvements on it? Still a little skeptical.

Most of the time I just use preev.com. If I am on my phone I sometimes use coinbase because I have the app and it is just easier than opening preev.com on chrome.

Just as always, btc-e.com.
They have the best layout, easy to see things, not eye tiring colors. Easy to find what you are looking for. And they have a fun "trollbox". Best way to watch lines while getting trolled.

As mentioned a lot initially in this thread, I use preev.com and bitcoincharts to find out what the current going rate of Bitcoin is. There aren't a whole lot of sources that offer fairly comprehensive looks at the value of Bitcoin over a lot of exchanges.

I see the evolution on xapo... and i have an api on one of my sites...so i have often an overview ... but it does nor matter stongly for me if the price changes...of course for me the best were stability or slow changing.

It's more or less right with few cents up or down compared to coinbase. This is what I've noticed and many prefer Google than other exchange websites. Current price on Google is 456.91 and on Coinbase is $457.06

My all time favourite is blockchain.info exactly markets.blockchain.info which provide full statistics with trading graph. But if i just have to look at price only than i find lastb.it quite simple and working fine.

I use google to determine the price of Bitcoin.I usually search 1 btc to usd in the Google search bar and get a rough estimate. I find this to be tthe easiest way to find the price of Bitcoin.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

I tend to use the Bitcoinmarkets subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/It has a live ticker at the top for prices from Bitstamp, Kraken and OK coin that update in real time. If you hover your cursor over the logos, it should show you the live prices of all their markets (eg btc/yen, btc/euro etc)
