I'd like to have a way to connect to all the BitcoinTalk.org folks in and around the USA Midwest, to plan meetups, get-togethers, and build community, but there's no way to do that on the current forums, which are only split by language.

Could we consider adding perhaps a "Regions" sub-forum spit by country, and perhaps regions within each country?

Regions
- USA
   - Northeast
   - Midwest
   - Northwest
   - ...
- Canada
- Western Europe
- Eastern Europe
- ...
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

There's a meetups forum under Bitcoin Discussion, give that a shot. Doesn't seem active enough for subforums.
