Apps and other digital items can be sold through CoinDL, which accepts only Bitcoins.

bitcoin would be a pretty cool way for app developers to sell in-game "freemium" stuff without dealing with payment processors and other middlemen taking 15-30% of the cut.

I dislike freemium, and I make applications to children, thus I cannot do that anyway. But yes, it is a good point.

If you're interested in selling directly to your potential customers, our service might do the trick.

Android allows alternative app stores. So you could make your own store app that operates like the Play store does, but accepts Bitcoins. You can use intents to request payment direct from the users wallet apps. Of course, the question is, what apps will be in your store?

Another option is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=206568.0, but you'd need to have somewhere to advertise your apps as the site doesn't really help with that, it just provides the file hosting.
