I'd be interested, but I'd like to see a picture of them on a scale.

LOL the guy above me said "tits or..". We all know the saying is "tits or gtfo!"

In all honesty iron, you cant sell scrap gold rings without pictures, weight or karat info.

Even if you do get a correct weight, that's not gonna help us with out the karat.

And I have to ask, why havn't you taken these to a pawn shop or gold buying place?

I think it's a good idea to sell this. I sold about $85 worth of scrap gold last year for about $60 worth of BTC. The gold has gone up a little, but the coins are worth over $1400.

True.. however gold has consistently gone up in value over the last 5 years. I think over 300%. BTC has risen like this before due to hacking & manipulation. I am not saying anything, you obviously made a lot more money with the BTC than the gold, but gold would definitely be the safer of the two.

Okay so 14k gold.. that is 58% of pure gold. 1 gram of pure gold is worth ~ $50 meaning 1 gram of 14k gold is worth ~ $27, $28.

That is just to get an idea of what they are worth. And just because 1 gram of 14k is worth $28, does NOT mean you will get $28. You will most likely be offered below spot.

Certainly good points. Gold has the ultimate track record as a store of value. If Tutankhamen had come back from the dead as planed,  he could continue to like like a Pharaoh today! I just saw a greater short term appreciation in the value of BTC. It was also a "win-win" because the buyer paid much less for the BTC he bought with.
