There's nothing special about it, there are a few of these sites. There's even one showing up as a Google AD. I always highly recommend that people do not use web wallets at all. At least then you'd not have to worry about phishing links. I'm not sure how many of these there are, but someone could create a list in 'Service Discussion'.

Going for a crazy theory here: What if that's the whole point of this thread?

I think these phishing sites should be banned forever.

Can we report these fake sites to Google for phishing? Because the top one in the search results is a phishing site disguised as the Blockchain official website and is using Google Ads to rank high. I think this poses a risk to users who are trying to log in to their Blockchain wallets in a hurry and can click on these sites instead. This is like the oldest trick in the books - just change the position of 2 adjacent letters and half of people won't notice.

That is the reason I recently transferred most of my coins from Blockchain.info wallet to other wallet. I am usually very cautious about site name and everything but you can't be too sure.
I am seriously surprised that blockchain.info company won't team up with Google to fight these fake sites.

To all blockchain.info users beware of the link appeared at the url. Seems like there is a phishing scam with url http://bliockcheiin.info/lndex.html Beware of it and I recommend you to double check before entering your credentials

Yeah, always check the website URL before you log in. There are a few of them out there, and they are nothing special. After all, they're supposed to deal with money, right?

But that link is seriously not like the real thing at all. It would be practically impossible to type something like that in the URL box and not notice it Tongue

No, if u make a typing mistake, u will not come to that address, but when U get an fake email from them with this html code <a href="bliockcheiin.info>Blockchain.info</a> then it will display the link to the real site, but it redirects you to the fake site.

it'll only show up as blockchain.info in text, when you move your cursor to this hyperlink,in the left-bottom of your browser will show the real link,so, if you really want to keep your money in secure , pay more attention

Based on the spelling alone, it's quite easy to notice it. I doubt if even newbies would be lured into such sites. Had it been spelled blackchain, I would have mistyped it. As always, better to be safe than sorry. That is why I enabled the 2-step verification in my blockchain.info wallet.

There's nothing special about it, there are a few of these sites. There's even one showing up as a Google AD. I always highly recommend that people do not use web wallets at all. At least then you'd not have to worry about phishing links. I'm not sure how many of these there are, but someone could create a list in 'Service Discussion'.

Shouldn't Google watch out that sites like those were never appeared in the results of a search? But it looks like they are even helping those scams to appear at top of the list. Weird. Beware guys.

Yep I saw that as well. I even checked out the site because I was curious to see how similar it was made to look to the official Blockchain website and it was an exact carbon copy. This scam is very dangerous because people on mobile devices can misclick on it as it's on the top above the legitimate site. God knows how many Bitcoiners have already fallen for this scam.

You can also change that with html AFAIK.
Just don't enter your email somewhere that is used in a spamming list.
