It takes 6 confirmations. Any less than that and your account won't be credited.

i can take a few hours.

Me too when I've been drinking whiskey all day.

OP, you just need to wait a bit longer though, as everyone is saying. It's not all as instant as we'd like.

Time is money. This means that if you have spare time, you can use it to make money.

Now all the integraty has left mybitcoin for me.. I'm setting up a key when I get home....

Fuck that was scary. It has to be better than this. Faster than this. & a feeling of more safety is needed. This anonymity is not cool for things like this webpage.

Faceplam...

Most Bank Transfers between institutions can upwards from 1 to 10 days.

All financial institutions have some delay.

Next time go do more research about whatever institutions you are using. There are tons of posts you can search that answer How Long Does X take. If you are willing to invest 300 Pounds into something you have very little information about and believe wait 30 minutes is crazy amount of time and lose 300 Pounds scares you to ever use Bitcoin again your going to have a lot more issues coming to you in the real world.

Impress your friends! Buy a bitcoin keychain!

Firstly, don't be a baby; the only people who use 6 exclamation points are txting, stereotypical 13 year old girls.

Secondly, use this next time:
http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/

^^ Search that for your address, and if it's listed, it just means your transaction is pending.  This is much more likely to happen if you don't pay a transaction fee.
