Bubbles are characterized by higher-than-average volume and faster moves per trade. This pattern seems duplicated right now. While the bubble is unlikely to pop until ~50 USD (based on basic patterns in Bitcoin price all-time highs), it seems increasingly likely that it will pop.

I considered it, but ultimately decided to cash out completely and wait for a good re-entry point.

I think, we are in a little bubble (it can crash now to $19, but it is very unexpected because price is growing long time, it will crash long time ), but we can hold price $29-32 for few months, or even bubble to $200 (in next 3 month) and then fall into $60 (in next 10 month) and you will not able buy cheaper.

... only my opinion :-)

There is another risk. If I'm (Bill Gates)? and become BTC fanatic then I can easy take $1,000,000,000(I hope he has :-) ) and buy 1,000,000 BTC (place buy order 1,000,000 BTC => $1000/BTC or be buying at lover prices for 1 year) and donate to "Bitcoin Foundation" (Wikipedia,WikiLeaks, charity) ... just for fun. :-)  (people are different and have different preferences ... you do not see to others head)

That's the other side of: If I am satoshi and want to buy myself a nice apartment I might just sell 1mil Bitcoin, and get back in at low single digits after I moved in resulting in a free 10mil dollar apartment.

I just wanted to show you how unlikely that is, in terms you can understand.

I think we are in a low grade bubble.. once interest tapers off again I suspect we will settle around 20 USD for a while.
I also sold a quarter of my bitcoins at around 27$ keeping the rest just in case :p

ZOMG Moo!

A $2 run up in 1 1/2 hours is amazing, but strengthens the bubble argument.  Be careful with your money, people. Undecided

I don't think we're in a bubble at all, i think even at 400m it is easily capable of hitting $1bil, considering it's the worlds largest virtual currency, and a piece of genius. All around all i see is major construction of solid foundations. Silicon Valley hedge funded companies moving in.

I think bitcoin still has a good few gears to move, it's still a baby.
