There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

$thread_title =~ s/there/their/;

https://forums.butterflylabs.com/blogs/bfl_jody/85-perennial-question-when-will-my-order-ship.html

"If you order now, [...] you may not get your order until May or June of this year."

They said that when they were still expecting to ship in February, so probably even later.

"All safe deposit boxes in banks or financial institutions have been sealed... and may only be opened in the presence of an agent of the I.R.S." - President F.D. Roosevelt, 1933

Realistically, Im going to guess if you order now (March 3) Probably will receive Sept 1 2013, despite what "customer service" says (lol).

You have to remember, this is BFLT (butterfly labs time). Everything is 200% longer, MINIMUM.
