Well been seeing a lot of gloom/doom on the halving...so figured I'd throw up a POLL and see what folk really think. I don' know enough to take a firm postion, but like all of us holding BTC I hope it goes up up up  Enjoy the poll and comment here on your why's or why nots in your choice |

Probably up because but im not sure about it but most of the forum members i see
btc supply swll be half thus demand will increase and price will increase. i dont know
much about btc price system but im guessing it would go up.

I think price has started to rise now and we will see higher price at the time of halving and this is the belief of the majority of users of bitcoin community.

I believe it gonna pump for sure as demand is increasing with decrease in supply. Price may not get pumped in early days after halving but later after few weeks miners will not be profited selling mined coins in the current price. So it will go up for sure.

Go up for a few days, drop down for a day, rise back up to pre halfing levels and linger on from there

The price is going to shoot right into outer orbit and we will be so rich there will be no need to work any more In reality I am expecting a modest increase to at least 50% and ideally doubling-up until the winter. By the way what do you mean by going sideways? Is this when the price doesn't change? |

That being said, it could only be a few dollars.
It depends on demand. Will people keep using bitcoin? Probably.
If price stays the same, there will be no incentive for miners to keep mining. Let's see what happens. It's tricky, though. |

Price will go up at halving, and I don't see any valid reason that it will fall, as we are seeing slow rise in the price of bitcoin at a moment.

Price of bitcoin will surely go up! Halving means only few bitcoin will be mined, as a result there will be less bitcoin supply. I guess that as of 2017 more people will know bitcoin, and the demand will increase which means, low bitcoin supply - high demand - soaring high price.

Majority of people same as i believing that bitcoins price will going up thats why many believers are buying bitcoins and save it to their wallet, and as you can see for the past chart oF halving event it states that bitcoin price are going up by this event and thats why many people believes that it will happen again, just what like happen before but who knows what will happen for this years halving we cant really predict it.

I don' know enough to take a firm postion, but like all of us holding BTC I hope it goes up up up Enjoy the poll and comment here on your why's or why nots in your choice When halving will come the price will go up and when halving will be finished than bitcoin price will suddenly come down, you can see day to day bitcoin price is increasing sometime fast and sometime slow, but sure price is increasing, so that mean some reason behind it, and it is Halving, and halving is coming after 2 months and bitcoin price will grow up more, may be bitcoin price will be reached at $800 to $1100. and than halving will be finished, bitcoin will come down, but i m not sure what the low price of bitcoin it depend on time. |

I voted: "It will go up!" and I'm sure it will, but I'm not saying it will go up big time. IMO for couple of months just after the halving the price will be fluctuating around $520 and maybe it will go even below $500 once but not for long.

I of course also hope the price will go up, but I think the price will go slightly down or it will remain fairly stable around the current price point.
There is soooo much hype as we are heading towards the block halving that I think a lot people will get upset about the price not moving in their desired direction, and that will result in what I have written above.

The most are of course hoping that the value will be more worth and that is because they also think that the value will be more because it was already stable for a long time.
So there must be a time soon that it will rise so we can earn also some profit so that is perfect.
