Got a file to my Email saying some olivier dube has shared a file with me on drop box.
File name "Bitcoin_Backup.js" obvious virus most likely ransomeware.

Be careful guys never open a js file or any file you get though email!

Your accusation came via PM, after you gave me your email asking me to don't publish it, you came out asking me if I've sent that file to you. I hate this kind of behavior and as I told you answering your PM, your entry has been removed. And I'm sorry about that since it was legit. But I have zero tolerance now.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Address means PWR address, usually people is scared or fud in two situation, they've missed the airdrop or they've cheatted the airdrop. With all your messages you're confirming me that you've cheatted.

so I'm a cheater because I don't want my e-mail to be public?
As I said, publish what you want about cheaters, I don't care, just don't publish everyone's e-mail.

If you mean PWR addresses, it's fine, my bad, but I'm not the only one that misunderstood, read previous posts Wink

What are the advantages to show the cheaters?
Is it just to satisfied everyone who do not take a part of airdrop?
I just think, even you publish it, the cheater will always cheat another airdrop or giveaway or anything else. So, it makes nothing.

I like the fud here,  it's only about people that don't want their cheatter email be published and people that can't run the wallet,  for now dev is doing the right thing,  it's only who have something to hide that is scared to see his email published. My wallet crashed only the first time,  then it was always ok.  I think it's more a configuration problem of your machines  more than a problem of the wallet itself.

The wallet who crash the first time is a know problem witl qt wallets. Here, it is not that : read the posts : it is a problem only in debug mod.
