About OpenDollar
OpenDollar is a new type of cryptocurrency, built using Ethereum Smart Contracts technology. The project intends to support social & non-profit fundraising initiatives and has very ambitious goals. We develop portfolio of products and services targeting global markets.

Job Description
You will work on a portfolio of products that includes:

• Ethereum smart contracts
• A number of microservices for transaction processing
• Mobile apps with digital wallet and messenger functionality
• Messenger bots
• Technology stack: Javascript (front and back end), iOS & Android, Ruby on Rails, maybe python

Required Skills
The candidate should meet the next requirements,

• Excellence in systems architecture using design patterns with multiple languages and frameworks
• Microservices-oriented architecture
• Experience with 2-3 major programming languages
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience
• Good linux system administration skills
• Good understanding of security threats
• Scaling systems using AWS or Google Cloud servicers
• Familiarity with basic cryptography terms and principles

Work Conditions

• On-call availability and periodic overtime
• Flexible location / work from home. We have an office in Kyiv, Ukraine
• Ukrainian/Russian is preferable, English is fine
• Contract-based payments in USD or BTC

Responsibilities

• In partnership with the company’s founders, identify opportunities and risks for delivering the company’s services, particularly using blockchain technology and cryptocurrency environment
• Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business
• Leadership ability, development of the product team
• Establish standards of performance and monitor staff  conformance
