update: This problem is now fixed and it seems like the bitstamp account never was "closed because of fraud", that was just bad information from my bank. I can once again transfer funds to bitstamp.

Yday I tried to make a transfer to bitstamp ( my third time). It wasnt possible for some reason, and afer being in telephone with my bank for over 1 hour today they told me that Slovenia had stopped all transactions to bitstamps account because of fraud.

Is this true? That means that nobody can transfer money to their account, so have anyone tried in the last 24 hours?

can you clarify the situation?
 1. your bank suspended its operations with Bitstamp
 2. Bitstamp's bank account in Slovenia was frozen by their bank

which one is that?

The bank actually told you they closed Bitstamp's account because of fraud? I find that hard to believe, but that may just be because I'm used to banks having policies about non-disclosure and privacy of information...

My bank told me that Slovenia had closed bitstamps account ebcause of fraud. I had to ask the same question 3 times in a row just to make sure I heard it right.

I sent Nejc Kodric (Bitstamp.net) a link to this thread hopefully we'll get a statement soon.

Hi,

Well, this is a surprise. I am afraid your bank has provided you with some misinformation.

Best regards
Nejc

Bitstamp always worked perfect for me and they are great for SEPA transfers.
Maybe OP is trolling or spreading FUD working for a competitor.
Anyway, I would appreciate a confirmation from any other bitstamp customer.

If you are not trolling, you need to change the tittle of this thread, it seems you and your bank is the only one with problems.

Someone from bitstamp already replied in this thread, doesn't seem like the problem is with bitstamp's side of things.

Alright, I finally got this resolved. Seems it was more an issue of Bitinstant's, not bitstamp's. Hazek was very cool in helping me.
