Blockchain require less than 80 blocks to switch to the KGW algorithm.

We don't know when exactly happen, in the meantime we continue to build Comet Platform

Hi, you can choose one of the pools in the main post of this page.
On the pool website you will find all instructions to start mining.

I have a concern. It is a very important question for me. Journal few coins were created? If the difficulty was adjusted, which means this? How many coins all people mine or create per day?  the mine speed or  difficulty was increased coin? After block 7000 and remained the difficulty? those questions are very important to me, and to support and promote this project. Thank you for always answering my questions promptly. They have proven to be very professional.

@lux....are you a miner?
If you are you know blocks are a total random thing per day and diff is a function of network hash.
What the dev did was stabilize the blockchain.

If difficulty was created to create new coins to the speed of light. Then I confundi currency. It is no longer attractive. And it's more of the same. So it is my question. if too many currency of nowhere to sell it to the new member, most of Coins, this has been the great deception are created. Because inflaccion is very high and the volume of this coin is still very low. Again if the difficulty is too short and can be created too many coins then it is not a serious coin for those who want to invest, then it would be more of the same. a coin for the miners to make money after a Pump and then return 1 satoshi. They call him Shit coin. that's my concern. If this is not so, then show it to the community. Thank you.

Hi, on block 7000 the network just changed the difficulty calculation for next blocks.
Since Comet is mined on profit-switching pools the difficulty to find a block changes fast and we needed to implement an algorithm called KGW.

Every day should be mined around 720 blocks that means 7200 CMT created per day.
Every 97000 blocks the rewards will be halved so:
Block 0 - 97000: 7200 CMT / day
Block 97000 -  194000: 3600 CMT / day
and so on until the max of 2000000 CMTs limit will be reached.

@Peltig: yes, we sent pools upgrade message.
SmarterHash pool has the new version (Just received message)
Prohashing pool (multi pool)
Hash-To-Coins pool (multi pool)
others are upgrading, we hope as fast as they can (we sent upgrade message on 12th july)

@Beachguy: thank you Smiley

@luxfilms: 1700 Bitcoins are generated per day (around 3600 before this halving) and 7200 before.
Halving of reward is a process that halves the CMT generated everyday. And now is around every 4 months.

I can tell you don't understand much about mining. Which is OK..everyone has to learn.
In my experience its so called "investors" or "traders" that pump and dump coins.....not miners.
I've mined CMT for the last 3 hours with almost 200 MH of A2 scrypt miners (btw thats about $2000 worth of hardware not count electricity) ....and have a whopping 50 CMT and they're not even confirmed yet as blockchain is still pretty slow on confirms.
Went right in to the exchange Yobit and bought 500 CMT at various prices.
You tell me which is easier......especially if I wanted to ride a pump.

added - guys,  .... mining with a laptop or a desktop is a total waste of time. not near enough mining power

Go rent some scrypt hash at mining rig rentals or some other rental place.
They have full instructions for you.

added#2 - Yay just got some of the first coins from over three hours ago confirmed.....6 of them.
Don't let anyone tell you mining is easy.

Right now network is reaching 4.5 GHash/s so mining is very difficult with common hardware.
Beachguy is absolutely right, you can rent rigs (ie on miningrigrentals.com) to have chances to mine some blocks

yeah, difficulty jumping very high, at 200 MH/s diff is already at 220, with just a few GH/s we could see diff 1200, so obviously this coin need much higher price to fire up the miners and market as well.
that would be very interesting to see Wink
