Hi All,

My girlfriend just switched networks and upgraded to the iPhone 5, so she gave me her 16 GB black iPhone 4S to sell.  She was on AT&T with it.  I will post some pictures later this evening but she only used it for about a year so it is in really good condition.  Comes with the original retail box if you want [will add a bit to shipping because of the dimensions].  Also comes with USB cable and the small cube power adapter.  I can dig up the stock headphones w/mic if you really want them also.  She has an intense screen protector installed [gorilla or something?] and a *speck brand protective case that seems pretty sturdy.

I will answer any questions you have about it.  She paid her bills and left AT&T amicably so there aren't any carrier holds or blacklists on it.  It has not been reported lost or stolen so I think that means it has a clean ESN.

On eBay these are going for about 10 BTC but I know that doesn't translate directly to a market like this, so let me know what you think a fair offer is for it.

Escrow will be used unless you want to send me the BTC before I ship Wink.  I am in California, USA, and prefer to ship within the USA, but we can probably work something out internationally if you pay shipping.

Thanks,

_theJestre

EDIT
Sold on Craigslist for $320 cash because people here couldn't comprehend how much phones actually cost when bought at retail price.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

before i make you an offer i'd need to see some pics also do you intend to cashout asap or keep your coins in your wallet and cash out at a later date?.

no one here (i hope ) will send coins first so i'd reccomend a trusted forum member or bitmit.net.
Do have a price in your mind as she got this for 200$. i'd  be willing  to make you an offer after i see the pics and is it unlocked?

Updating with some pics.

Here is a pic taken from the phone that is for sale, to show the camera works well:

The bubble on the back is where the plastic protector is peeling off, but it is just dust.  As you can see from the first pic, the unit's camera functions superbly.

I believe these still retail for over $400 USD when purchased without a 2 year contract.  Here are completed listings of the same phone on eBay.  they average between $300 and $400
Code:
http://www.ebay.com/csc/Cell-Phones-Smartphones-/9355/i.html?LH_Sold=1&_from=R40&LH_Complete=1&_nkw=iphone+4s

I would be happy to get around 10 coins for this, rather than to sell on eBay and then have to buy coins.  I was joking about the buyer transferring the coins first, I'll even pay the ~1% escrow fee.

>> also do you intend to cashout asap or keep your coins in your wallet and cash out at a later date?
Probably buy some stuff with the coins directly, and keep some on hand for a rainy day Wink.

The phone is not unlocked, but isn't that as simple as downloading a program and clicking a few buttons?  If you don't feel like you can unlock it yourself, I can unlock it for the buyer, but when I do unlock it then escrow will have begun and you can't change your mind on buying the phone.

Need any more pics? Info?  Want to leave an offer? Just let me know.

Thanks,

_theJestre

Dude..Go on your local Craigslist. I just checked mine and 2 other states. 200 is the average but you can get it for as low as 150 pretty often.

Now, on the other hand, the iphone 5 goes for around 400 on local CL again...sure you didn't get your shit mixed up?

Yes, I'm quite sure I didn't get my *stuff* mixed up Smiley

First two I found were listed at $375 and $299.  Then I stopped looking.  Did you look at the eBay link above?  All those listings are for the 16 GB 4S as well.

EDIT:
Unlocked and without a 2-year contract the 16 GB 4S retails for $549.00.
Source: apple.com (you have to click the link that says "Or get iPhone unlocked and contract-free" to see the actual price)
Code:

Please note, I am taking offers if you'd like to make one.
