doesn't matter what the market rate is. OP is willing to sell x amount of XRP for y amount of BTC. Just because the market for BTC is $34.50 doesn't mean I'm willing to sell my BTC for $34.50.

The point is that anyone considering the purchase of XRP will not only get a better price through the Ripple order book, but also a more secure transaction. |

The point is that anyone considering the purchase of XRP will not only get a better price through the Ripple order book, but also a more secure transaction.
You can by BTC cheaply and securely off of MtGox...that doesn't stop ebay buyers from purchasing them at double market value. |
