As some of you know bitcoin is on the list.

Quote
states that the data "clearly shows that the research was sloppy, random and valueless."

Does anyone actually believe that? My theory: the random and valueless words inserted were just to keep people(the researchers themselves)  from knowing what they are really interested in. I bet bitcoin wasn't so random.

I want to think that some of the words are in there as "tests" just to verify that the system works the way its expected or something.  But a really surprising percentage of them can be traced to some weird conspiracy stuff, so it's entirely possible they aren't as random as they seem.

For example, "Brad Pitt     Chuck Palahniuk" -- that's Fight Club.  Fight Club is Tyler Durden, ZeroHedge.

The "Palladium" stuff can't be random.  They're a bank.  Surely they have investments in precious metals.

The pro wrestling stuff, Conan the Barbarian -- major NWO conspiracy land.

"Perpetual motion machine     Roulette"  -- what the fuck even is this?

The thing is, you couldn't come up with stuff this random even if you tried.
