I received a very strange E-Mail this morning, thoughts from the peanut gallery?

1st of all, There is no way I would DL any software from an unsolicited source.  Just wondering if anyone else got it and what they think.
E-Mail is to a DropBox. Text says:


any kk shared some files with you on Dropbox


Send 1 btc to Alan. Leave 2.7 btc in main wallet

Nope, but it's clearly a phishing attempt. A lot of phishers and Email spammers use that exact technique: sending an Email that seems "personal" so as to excite your curiosity & get the click (to find out what's up.)

Yes there are weird Dropbox phishing emails being sent out these days. I got one from "Poloniex Inc" with a "Poloniex wallet". Lol. What an utterly bad attempt.

You are 100% trying to cheat. (To get the data they need to drive and steal information)
They can still use social engineering, beware.
