Once it is processed, there is no way to cancel it. All the bitcoin transactions are irreversible..

I think that you would have to pass along more details of the transaction in question for anyone (even the experts here at bitcointalk, I am not an expert).  My *guess* is no.

Quizas Ud. puede preguntar con detalles y palabras EXACTAS en la parte del foro en español.  Pero, supongo que NO.

Good luck.
Suerte.

I think it is possible if the transaction is unconfirmed by double spending..It is almost impossible if it is confirmed.

Yah that can help in case if someone wants to kick a bitcoin transaction from mempool. But if it gets even 1confirmation it cannot be cancelled. Also now most of bitcoin wallets don't allow double spend which makes it hard .Though you can still pass on a double spend transaction doing a little bit coding on core wallet.

Nope you cannot cancel a transaction in blockchain. So always think twice before sending money when it comes to BTC.

ok, thats fine, the question was because i think that in some cases when you make transactions with others in here and they give you some address for deposit, maybe you culd say..  lets sent it at the same time and lets check together the blockchain record (i dont know the blokchain for other currencies) but if the other dont sent the coins then find the way for cance the deposit.

is this a really crasy idea?Huh

There are 2 possibilities, either you want to send bitcoin or any altcoin to any address or you don't.
If you do then nothing can reverse the transaction, how ever if still not confirmed you may double spend it which I think you lose everything
Only the coins never reach the destination, I'm not sure how double spending works and if detected by block chain what happens to the coins
But when confirmation happens nothing can bring you back your money, sorry if you lost cash to scammers.

But really you cannot cancel the transaction you send because blockchain dont have the features like that. And thats what taking advantage for the fraudster because they knew bitcoin dont have cancel button and anonymous they make ways to scam people like making hyips, investment program and any other scam attemp existing there, not having cancel button for blockchain really not big problem and it helps people to be anonymous online but if you get victimize by scam or fraud well you will curse it because you lose your money.

I read somewhere that you can:
"To send to the network transaction uses the same inputs coins to your address + add to it another 1 Bitcoin such as ++ and add more commission - its first grab any pool once - and the first transaction will be recognized as erroneous" (c)

The phrase "to cancel the transaction" is not applicable for Bitcoins and networks. On cancellation of the transaction can only speak as part of the service, ie, transaction handler.
The transaction is sent to the network scatters on clients and reach the miners. Enabling transaction block miners, will confirm.
attack scheme should be like this: we send a transaction that comes to transaction processor in payment acceptance service (a "subnet") and almost simultaneously send another transaction that uses the same input as the first miners in the nodes (the other "subnet").
As a result, the unit will be turned on the second transaction and the first ever confirmed as the inputs used in the second, but the service has reached the first.

It sounds like you are trying to find a way to send a btc transaction in exchange for something but cannot be assured of delivery. In this case you will want to use a trusted third party for escrow. Some alt coins are developing escrow built - in to the wallet, such as syscoin

It is impossible to cancel a transaction, if you are referring to the bitcoin network.

The bitcoin network is by nature decentralized and therefore irreversible. It is impossible to reverse a transaction, so you should always be careful sending funds to dodgy people. You'll get scammed.

unfortunately you can't take back your coins once you have sent it and get into transaction, its just like if you sent money from ATM,you can cancel it,because if this feature exist in bitcoin transaction, every people have a chance to be scammer.

Estoy de visita en el Peru por el momento.  Rodeado por mis cunados.  "Si no practico espanol en la casa, me pega la jefa!"

(Chiste!)

Visiting Peru (on business and pleasure), enjoying my very decent in-laws.

Parace que hay MUY poco de BTC aqui...

Hardly any Bitcoin activity here, but Peru is not in chaos like Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela.

one thing that you could do however is to make sure you are sure with what you are about to do.  Grin
transactions are irreversible, that is also the reason scammers cram here in the forum to take how much you have. escrows don't even guarantee.
