can i cancel a deposit from blockchain in case of posibly fraud?

Bitcoin transactions is irreversible, after you click the send buttons you can not cancel the transaction. Therefore if you want to transact using bitcoin, you have to carefully for each transaction. thank you

I think that you would have to pass along more details of the transaction in question for anyone (even the experts here at bitcointalk, I am not an expert).  My *guess* is no.

Hardly any Bitcoin activity here, but Peru is not in chaos like Brazil, Argentina and Venezuela.

Acá en México desde hace años en algunas revistas como PC MAgazine en sacaron algunos artículos, incluso en los CDS venian algunos programas básicos de minado desde CPU (Estamos hablando de 10 años tal ves)  yo incluso traté de hacerme de algunos bitcoins en ese tiempo. Pero sin mucho esfuerzo. Recientemente (creo que hace como tres añños) salió volabit que compra y vende Bitcoins en México desde bancos y tiendas como 7 eleven u oxxo y paga por medio de transferencia bancaria.

bancos como BBVA Bancomer y Santander han invertido al parecer ya en Bitcoin pero son Españolas, asi que no es un merito propio de nuestro gobierno.

Debido a la paridad peso dolar el valor del Bitcoin es casi del doble de lo que era el año pasado, asi que me arrepiento por no haber tenido la visión de ponerle más esfuerzo a la adquisición del bitcoin  ; P

pero bueno, ¿poco a poco amigo, y en que parte del mundo resides?

Here in mexico since several years in magazines like Pc Magazine in spanish, some articles was starting to talk about Bitcoin, even some CD's include little programs for minnig with your CPU (Maybe 10 years ago) even me try to get some BTC in that time but without real effort. Recently (like trhee years i thing) volabit star to buy and sell BTC using convenient stores like oxxo or 7 eleven and pays by bank transfer.

looks like Some Banks like BBVA Bancomer and Santander are investing in BTC but there are from spain so our govermnet dont have merit.

for the difference between US Dollar and Mexican Peso the BTC cost is almost the double than the last year, so im regreet for dont keep some BTC and live without that vison ; P

You can cancel the deposit if the proccessing is not starting yet but if  its already processed you cant cancel it anymore..
Unlike paypal that you have a power to reverse the payment..

With great powers come great responsibility. "Being your own bank" means that you have the power to send your funds wherever and with a low cost, but the drawback is that you are responsible for your transactions. If I send funds to a scammer, well that is my fault for being ignorant, and yes I have learnt that the hard way.

Even if say the UN had a law banning scams on the blockchain, it's not like anyone could enforce that so called law.

Yeah you cannot stop fraudster when your using and dealing with them, and if you really send your money to the fraudster say sorry to your money and begin to moveon nowadays sacammers/fraudster find different ways to attact people so that they will successfull to their plan and all we need to do is be careful because blockchain dont have cancel button in every transaction we made.

Bitcoin is good and bad in this way. You have to be 100% sure of the legitimacy of the person you're sending the bitcoin to, because once sent, you won't see that bitcoin again unless the recipient is a super nice guy and refunds you.

The thing I think is very unlikely for this time, because the system is still not as good as Bitcoin Paypal. and this can cause a panic at the receiver that performs transactions, my advice if you're doing something better seen in the past that people can be trusted or not

You can't actually do that, because right after you send the Bitcoin to the network. There will be a confirmation, and after it confirmed you can't do anything about it.
But in other case, there's a transaction that failed to send because of a 'double spending'.

Remember the red once. when you check your balance on blockchain.info it is on Red button meaning that your transaction is waiting to be process so it name unconfirmed and when it has 1 confirmation of more you cant do anything at all. Try to double check all your investment sites before you deposit bitcoin. Sometimes you knew that is fraud when its to late. You deposit such amount and it will gonna be scam.

You cant cancel if the transaction is now on process. You cannot tell it to stop. The only way to retrieve your deposit/withdraw is to contact the address you are depositing/withdrawing.. But if you are lucky enough there is a chance that the processing time will be cancelled. I dont know why. But others reported that blockchain sometimes cancel transactions.

You cant cancel if the transaction is now on process. You cannot tell it to stop. The only way to retrieve your deposit/withdraw is to contact the address you are depositing/withdrawing.. I think as long as your transaction has 0 confirmations, you can cancel it. But, if your transaction has already 1 or more confirmation, then you cannot do anything about it anymore. That's why we should think first before sending transactions and make sure that the person you are sending to is a legit one so you will not encounter these things.

If you used services like Xapo, and the transaction was still off-chain, you might just be able to reverse the transaction before it goes on-chain. < On to the Blockchain > The basic person to person transactions on the Blockchain between Bitcoin addresses directly are not reversible. ^smile^

Who would be making these decisions, on what transactions get reversed? The Blockchain is a chain of transactions, so how do you take out a single tx, without dropping the whole chain of transactions after that?
