Hello
I am a newby trying to understand. Still in the learning mode.

I did all the stuff as sayd  http://eligius.st/~gateway/getting-started   and  http://eligius.st/~gateway/miners/standalone-miners

1 - Installed bitcoin core and have a bitcoinadress.
2 - Downloaded bfgminer 4-1-.6-win64
3 - Run Bitcoin core
3 - Run bfgminer en enterd in the url:  stratum+tcp://stratum.mining.eligius.st:3334
My username is my bitcoinadress and the password is just randomly chosen.

Then I hit enter.  After a few moments bfgminer shuts down.
When I start taskmanager on the backround things are happening. My hd runs for 80%. Processor 35% ethernet 54 Mbps. But GPU is not working at all.
I have a MSI Radeon R& 370 Graphics card.

When I place my bitcoinadress in http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/mystats.php?u=142QvgtkVAvWazMcP19KJD1RPkcfYMgS57   it says "No address sent for My Stats page "bitcoinadress" was not found in database.
To use My Stats you must specify your Eligius mining address.

So I dont now if it works correctly, Can someone help me out,

Thank you

It doesn't work because the hashrate of your GPU is insufficient to mine bitcoin.

http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/41125/is-gpu-mining-still-an-option

You should look into mining Ethereum.

Mining bitcoins requires lot of CPU power

no it require specialized HW called asic

OP you need to use that rig to mine altcoin, like etheruem which is more profitable than mining bitcoin with asic

As the others mentioned, times of GPU mining are long gone (still works for some altcoins).

If you're desperate to mine bitcoin anyway (for educational purpose etc) you can buy some old-generation ASIC miner. But note that you will not make a profit.
