I'm mining at about 570/600 Mh/s. At the current difficulty, I should expect an average of about 1 BTC per day. I have been mining for well over 12 hours on the Slush pool and only earned about 0.03 BTC (confirmed) and 0.16 BTC (unconfirmed). Even assuming an optimistic 0.20 BTC for 12 hours, it's still way less than half what I should be getting in theory (and on average).

A friend of mine who has the same hardware as mine, as been running it for days and he averages 0.3 BTC with 600 Mh/s from Slush.

Is this normal and expected?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Depends on the pool. I like where I'm at, 2-3 bitcoins /day

Let me rephrase, I make 2-3 bitcoins/day  @ 1,800 mhashes/s

Pool info is in my signature. I've tried almost all pools, I like this the most.
Seems to pay more than everyone else (its PPS, I dont like waiting for confirmations and love the instant cashout button)

Give it a shot, whats your hash rate?

I make 0.25-0.3 BTM per day with 150 Mh/s atm.

Idk about this day though, last blocks are kind of long.

I'm on slush as well at 600mhs, and earned 1.06 yesterday, and on my way to another 1.something today.

Check your settings/logs?  Are you getting fed data, or are your miners sitting idle?

What program/cards/settings do you mine with?

I believe they are running all the time.

Diablominer with the -v and -w options recommended for 5850 cards, on Windows 7.

I don't know diablominer, i run Phoneix miner (command line, it outputs all sorts of nice-to-know info).  With Slush, you should have one "worker" per gpu, and if you log into http://mining.bitcoin.cz/accounts/profile/ with your account, you should see the "share" number increase for each worker.  If the share number isn't increasing, check that workers settings..

Today's been a rough day on the slush pool as well, not sure if it was a DDOS or what, but there was some weirdness with an invalid 52 share block..

Anyone else still waiting on payments from slush from yesterday? I had a payout about 26 hours ago and it still has not showed up.

edit: I discovered all the blocks weren't downloaded. Downloaded them and pmt showed up immediately.

My system is running 426 Mh/s. I am getting about a 4% rejection rate and with a 2% fee I should still expect to get over 90% of my mining capability, yet am now only getting about 70%. I'll give it another day or two to see if it averages out. If not, I'll change strategies.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

My earnings have been almost -50% for the last 72 hours on slush for no specific reason so I've switched all my miners to deepbit and BTCguild.

It's true. Here are my miners. 0 and 1 are mining for BTCMine. 2 and 3 are mining for slush.

Bitcoins.lc has instant payout and will not need to wait for confirmation to cashout soon. Check it out

I like the idea of Slush Scoring system, but in the end, i got a lower payout, too. I watched it some time and calculated everything, tried arround with miners (besides, with phoenix i had many stale there, why is no long polling implemented at Slushs pool?).

Per Block i was nearly everytime below the average, alltime i was to low and so an. I dont believe on variance here (if you ever can believe on something like variance Wink), i switched back to deepbit. I hate someone may cheating on me, but in the end the amount of bitcoints is all what counts.

Greetings
Mike
