What happened: I was looking to buy an MS licence code, got a PM from Kozan, first transaction of 10$ BTC was ok, then he offered me MSDN acc for 120$, I payed Paypal, also lend him 9$ on BTC. He gave me one MSDN login, but it was not working, then he gave me another log in, it was fresh, logged in, but was not able to activate it, he said it will work after 24 hours. I was waiting for him since Wednesday, he was promising that MSDN admin will start working soon, then I was waiting for a refund for a couple of days. Then he went crazy and just basically flipped me off. Never got my money back or the product.

Well the screenshot/chat logs you provided doesn't shows that the person using the skype is same with bitcointalk id.You should have cleared checking whether its the same guy from bitcointalk.Anyone can make a skype id from any name and can pretend to be a reputable person and do a scam attempt.Whatever happened is the same case.If you have proof that the one who scammed you is bitcointalk user: Kozan then please provide.

I think you guys got scammed by an impostor as according to his skype ID Kozan-btc (https://web.archive.org/web/20160522103244/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1475426.0), his skype name is kozan-btc not Kozan Kozan. Can you screen shot the ID you were chatting with?

I don't know but I guess Avirunes has some connection to him, he seems to be supporting him, while he is clearly a scammer, and scamming.  Kozan Kozan is the name, not the skype id. as james.lent said the id is kozan-btc try adding that skype id yourself, and see what names does it shows up in your list, it would be Kozan Kozan, and the seller,"Kozan" is trying to deny and run away with his id as clean, as well as all the money. I can certainly proof that he is the same person.

Please!! are you talking to air?? Show proof that am connected with Kozan. Reason why am backing is because it doesn't seems like kozan scammed him. I am just trying to say what james.lent is saying.

He scammed me too, I also have a skype chat log

I think you guys got scammed by an impostor as according to his skype ID Kozan-btc (https://web.archive.org/web/20160522103244/https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1475426.0), his skype name is kozan-btc not Kozan Kozan. Can you screen shot the ID you were chatting with?

If you still didn't understood it then better read it back again.

I was mistaken. Having a capital K in the ID doesnt make a difference. Its him according to the screenshot.

if you have skype, add his skype id to figure it out. James lent didn't say anything wrong

and you should know what's skype id and nick name

I didn't say I am confident that you are connected with Kozan, did I? so where does this question of proof come here? I said I guess, and I guessed because you are not looking at what's being provided, because if you do, it's quite clear that Kozan scammed him as well as me, I have posted about it separately at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1480928.0

To my understanding, what he is trying to do is keep his bitcointalk account clean by refusing to accept that it was he himself on skype, and who else would do so other than scammer ? I myself is new to the forum, and being scammed by him (kozan-btc), and looking for what action can be taken by moderator against him, and what would be done at most to keep the community clean from scammers, I have seen 3 peoples complaining about him (including me).

Since james.lent has posted and confirmed the bitcoin id / skype id is of same person. What do you understand now? and what do you have to say? care to read each and everything again for your own better understanding, perhaps if you do, you will be convinced that people are getting scammed by this bitcointalk user kozan, and moderator should come in to action.

I've left him negative trust so he shows up as red under DT. Looks like a sold account to me, unfortunate that he managed to get so many people before being caught. It's a shame that people automatically assume hero members are trustworthy when it is so easy buy one. Also, scams are not against the forum rules, so there is nothing a moderator can do about this.

I not use skype show proof where I said I use skype
So you've got a Skype impostor! Is that what you're going for?

Fortunately the impostor used your address (1KozanzpaCuzYqKYotEw8Wwx522A8ct4dV) which is published right now on your profile to get the payment.
So you got that payment and had no idea what it was from? Well now you now, just send it back to OP  Roll Eyes
