The price will definitely drop as soon as the block halving has been completed.

Right now it's mainly the hype and excitement around the block halving that is driving the price to these levels.

It's more than normal that everything will come down as there is not much anymore to aim for as people see the block halving as "the happening of the year".

Some people saying price will be increased may be doubled...already bitcoin price increased a lot recently..some say it will go down..just have to wait and see what changes that brings to bitcoin price

The decreasing-supply algorithm (Halving) was chosen because it approximates the rate at which commodities like gold are mined. (Finite supply currency)

And it's done every 210,000 blocks, or approximately 4 years.

I hope it will happen soon. But, looking the price of bitcoin now, it's really scary though. Huge down today and it will hard to make the price increase again.

I think the price of Bitcoin will top out at around $800 after the halving in the best case scenario because this will be almost a 100% increase considering the starting price was around $400-$450. I was hoping we would see a price of upwards $1000 but I fear this won't be the case after the halving but perhaps we will reach that milestone in the winter or early next year. We need to be positive and keep on holding our coins in order to avoid a panic sell and the imminent crash of the Bitcoin market.

Exactly, but I think you should not sell now, but you should wait for some more time, as majority of users have a feeling that price will again start to rise as we get near to halving.

Well,it's 19 days to halving now and BTC has corrected 10% from the high. It's going to be pretty exciting and nerve-wracking to watch the vol over the next 3 weeks

The value is continuously dropping though. I'm not sure if this is because bitfinex because that's what statistics are saying. Bitfinex contributed to the plunge of bitcoin value. Well, I do hope that the price would go back up to ~$750 again. That'd be really great.
