I think the one who should pay for the escrow is the buyer. Because I have last transaction (which is not related to BTC). Wherein I sell my account and he doesn't want to go first so we hire an escrow and the buyer of my account volunteered to pay it. Its because its for the security of the buyers more than the sellers.
