I transferred funds straight from a MtGox account, to a Silk Road deposit number. Is that ok to do? How long does it usually take?

Not just cash, like BTC. I deposited them in my SR number. How long should it take.

You can watch specific addresses, blocks, and transactions in the Bitcoin system by using websites like blockexplorer.com or blockchain.info
