i am newbie,

My Activity shows 28 , and after that it is not  updating any activity count on profile , i am logging and posting everyday.

is there anything needs to be done.

But to answer to your question:
In period of two weeks, your activity can grow maximum 14 points. Points are counted from Tuesday every two weeks. (Im not sure if it is today, or next Tuesday.)
Posts are of course important, but time as well is rule here.

Your activity doesn't increase with number of posts but it increase with time.You get 14 points every in 2 weeks time period in which you have been active.

I believe that you noticed that as you post, the activity also increases. It's because you had 28 potential activity at that time and you haven't reached it just yet. Now that you've reached it, your activity will only update after 2 weeks. The next update is today on 02:26 PM. If you posted daily, then you should have 42 activity on the next update.

Just wait for 2 weeks to see the update of your activity and you should post even 1 once the rank is updating again.. or
 i think basic understand is just 1 activity 1 post per day.. so if you are waiting to be a rank up it needs to 1 post a day every 14 days we will see the update of the activity..

Activity is the lesser of your post count and 14, and it updates every two weeks. So in two weeks time it should go up.

Acitivity upgrade once per week and it's only 14 and when you post, you need to wait 1 hour to wait the increase of you activity, better you read first the sticky one about activity.

The information you provide are completely wrong. For Senior Member it is a huge mistake. Better not write on subjects about which you have no idea.

- Activity points are updated once per two weeks.
- If you don't have enough posts (less then activity, but potential activity is higher), after writing post, activity should be updated in 30 minutes.

your next activity will update on 7 june then again on 21 june and so on after every 14 days.

How do you count that? One more mistake!

To explain that situation:


here is just one option:
His account till today earn 28 activity points + 35 posts.
Today his account is upgraded of 14 activity points.
Potential activity is 42 activity points.

In next two weeks you can upgrade your account up to max 42 activity points - you just need to write 7 posts.

It is not possible to exceed this limit, or speed it up.

Hey there, you should definitely check out this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582736.0. It pretty much covers what you're asking right now. The amount of posts does not equate to the amount of activity always.

Every 2 weeks if you post at least 1 post you get 14 potential activity. And your potential activity is the maximum activity level you can get to currently. So in the next activity period you would get 14 more activity, the next 14 more, etc. etc.

potential activity is the maximum activity you can get just by reaching the post count required , max activity you can get is equals to your current post count so for example you have 1000 potential activity and you only have 50 posts it would show you only have 50 activity but if you can make 950 more post and you will reach your 1000 activity potential without waiting for next activity periods
