Sorry for the English again folks but I write dansk very poorly.

I am an American living in Denmark for the last 18 years.  I see Bitcoin as poised to make a very big change to the way people think about money.  I want to spread that word in Denmark.

There is a forbund or group for eveything in DK. Is there anyone besides me that would be interested in helping getting this up and running.

I hope there is some interest.

First the obvious, promotion of Bitcoin. Your youtube video is an excellent start.

Merchant awareness.  I have never seen one television news story in Denmark, good or bad.  I may have missed a finance blip.  I think that is strange at this point.  Or have I missed a lot?

You are much better versed in the subject than I am for sure.  I am just hoping to help get the word out there a bit more.  I am also willing to give my time and possibly money to do it.

I can barely convince my own wife that BTC is a good thing.

I did think I may have missed just that type of story from just that show. I worked for TV2 nyhederne for a bit.

So I guess I needed to do more research.  I was also unaware that walletbit was Danish.

And yes of course you are absolutely right a group of businesses promoting BTC is better than a non-prof for Denmark right now.  I just have not seen that either.

So I guess then it boils down to, if I can ever be of any assistance please don't hesitate to ask.

Main stream news in general sucks pretty hard.. Always negative and and making 1 feather out to become 5 ducks.

A non profit organization would be a great idea. There need not always be a monetary incentive for someone to do an effort in a field,
some people actually want to see knowledge and information spread and shared.

Agree about the media but that is what Herre og Frue NeverHeardofBitcoin see for the most part.

But if there is any interest I would more than interested in helping.

Unfortunately yes, most people do not realize they get brainwashed through the TV and other main stream news channels. However, I do think that the tide has changed, and that the bitcoin articles in general seems more balanced and better now than before.

Also I do not think media is what will make or break bitcoin, I think it has it's place, because the existing payment structures are too cumbersome, so it's a natural evolution.

Don't worry. Bitcoin usage in DK is spreading by word of mouth.

I've explained bitcoin (in depth) to perhaps 25 people. I know for a fact that 4 of these are now active users and at least one of them has told a friend about it who is now also a user. Network effect slowly starting.
Media coverage of bitcoin in Denmark has been minimal until now, but give it time. In the mean time, why not get your hair cut here:
http://rubenogbobby.dk/site/index.php?/bobby/bitcoins-betaling/
(Forget the 4 BTC price tag - it'll be readjusted to match the current exchange rate when you book.)
