I started with GUIminer and this is what it shows: http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/6341/bitcoin.pngUploaded with ImageShack.usSo my hash rate is 1,1 Mhash/s . So in how manny days, weeks, months , years , i can make 1 bitcoin?

All the info you want can easily be found by using Search. You questions have been answered over and over and over and over............ You missed the boat for BTC mining, better off buying.

Here's a calculator: http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/You can expect to make about 0.04145821 BTC per year when mining on a CPU. That's not taking into account the cost of power and wear on your equipment.

I would recommend solo-mining with that hashrate: Average generation time for a block (solo) 540 years, 289 days (can vary greatly depending on your luck)

Specialized hardware for mining. For 1300$ for example you can get 60.000 Mhash/s

From what I understand, in solo mining, you don't make 1 BTC but rather the current reward of 50 BTC if you solve a block. The downside is that the difficulty is already high enough that even solo GPU mining with custom rigs stuffed with all of the high-end GPUs they can take could take years to solve one block. CPU mining was completely pointless long ago. You might be able to make a little BTC if you join a mining pool, where a bunch of miners agree to share the reward if any of them solve a block, but you probably still need some serious hardware to get anywhere.
Meanwhile, ASICs - custom-designed CPUs that do nothing but mine, are really expensive and also really fast - seem to be coming onto the market, and may make even pooled GPU mining pointless in the next few months.
Correct me if I'm wrong about anything, I'm still learning this stuff too...

Nah, you are mostly right. Yup, solo mining is about finding a block, if you find it, 25BTC (the reward halves every 4 years, no more 50 btc per block today! Only 25) are really expensive 1300$ for a 60.000Mhash/s or 150$ for a jalapeno with 4500Mhash/s is not really expensive A rig with 3 or 4 GPU cost more!

thanks i already stoped...i`ll have to see about ASIC as i dont know yet what it is Although if you're thinking of buying an ASIC make sure you do your research first (Custom Mining board probably a good place to start). You might find you're waiting longer than the vendor's website implies...
