...and then they were silenced.

Why?  Because they were now safely in the hands of the clowns who fooled everyone into giving them free Bitcoins for more bubblegum leprechaun unicorn promises.  There are now millions of dollars of our value, blood, sweat, and tears in the hands of scammers who don't give a shit about crypto and blockchains frankly - they just want a quick buck.

I say 'our' even though I didn't participate in LISK (and have never participated in an ICO -they are all flimsy and morally bankrupt ways to start a world-changing innovation).  I say 'our' because the value that was stolen from the community was real value that could have gone towards worthwhile projects, and now will end up in the thongs of Eastern European strippers and car salesmen.  Satoshi didn't ask for money to launch Bitcoin, right?  Satoshi launched Bitcoin - the most powerful money the world had ever seen - for free to an unappreciative Internet.  In fact, the first public comment to his humble announcement of a new form of digital money was a predictable: "Dude, are you high right now?".  That's how you change the world: you create genius and then give it away.  You don't try to make a quick buck while you're at it.  Even Satoshi's coins (worth hundreds of millions) never moved.  Why?  Because it wasn't about getting rich.

It was about creating something truly worthwhile.

And what has the internet done?  Perverted the original promise of blockchains into a twisted orchestra of ICOs and lazy half-baked consensus mechanisms.  Well the time has come to declare that we've had ENOUGH.  This ends when we finally stop waltzing merrily into the jaws of ICOS and fraudsters.  This ends when we stop giving these crooks our hard earned value, and start screaming to n00bs loudly enough to stay away as well.  This ends when we stop allowing their slick propaganda to lure us into the jaws of greed traps.

Stop supporting ICOs like LISK, WAVES, and Ethereum!  Start supporting projects that are launched due to a passion and love for crypto and making the world a better place.  Stop being some clever kids meal ticket, and start focusing on what's important.  You say this programmable blockchain tech is the future?  Great - make a fairly launched, non-ICO, fork of it and commit yourself to promoting it.

But please let this be the last time fraudbuckets extract millions of dollars from this community.  What hurts you, hurts me - we are all in this together.  When one of us loses money to these ICO scams, we all do.  It's time to take back crypto for the good guys, and kick the rotten vultures out on their ass.

Account is back under control of the real AmericanPegasus.

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Makes sense this is one of the reason why I seldom participate on this Ico because it contradicts what satoshis is preaching, this is not a good way to adopt a new coin now they learn their lesson but in a costly manner..

I like reading OPs posts in general,  but come on--everyone on this forum is looking to make a quick buck.  Yes there are tons of scammers, but you have to acknowledge greed as a driving force in crypto and in life.  For many people,  anyway.   Not all.

and the time is near for the tide to turn and for the general community to focus on the proven networks that where launched with fairness and with no up front payoff to the developers ... there are dozens of quality networks ... and they will still be here after this latest ICO bubble has fizzled  ... they question is will you be on board?

+1 to all the above.

I cant wait for the day if it ever comes where scams are shown the door around here.
