I also think the bitcoin price will remain relatively stable after halving, although perhaps we could see some price increase these previous days before that event, but not much more than $500.

I would like to have hit my goal but that probably wont happen. Hopefully Ill hit it in december and the price wont have gone up too much.

Halving or no halving better stock up on Bitcoins because 2016 has been good with exchange of Bitcoins. Much more if it hits halving.

How much of an effect do you realistically think the halving will have and what do you predict the future price will settle at? (Assuming that there is a spike in price a couple months after the halving, followed by a pretty large dump). It seems it would have to be higher than current prices for mining to remain profitable, but by how much?

No one can be certain about the halving effect and when it would actually be felt in terms of bitcoin price. The price has spiked up the last couple of days from as low as $438 to as high as $465. I think the price is going to be playing in that range until we are close to halving.

Everyone is hoping that the Bitcoin halving will be nice to us and that we can earn some profit in the future with it and that should be perfect for us because we already waited a long time. So the time must come that we can earn some profit with it and the price started already to rise and that is nice. |

are you ready for bitcoin halving? what can you say about the halving  it doesn't matter if we are ready or not the halving is going to happen  but nonetheless i have been preparing myself for the rise that may come because of the halving in the near future after it happens. i have been buying bitcoin when it takes a dip and it becomes cheaper. |

Everyone with Bitcoin is waiting for a nice halving and that is because they all want to earn some profit with it which that is not possible now so that have to change.
But it is still hard to predict for what will happen because it is a currency so you are not for sure if it will rise.

yeah, it is good to see that the price has started to rise again after the last little back track. the only thing left to do now is to wait and see how much higher it can get after we have bought in this little dip. |

well yeah, its nice to see that the price is climbing up slowly but surely and that means that during the halving we might even see way bigger price than at the moment im really ready for the bitcoin halving at the moment because in my opinion the price of the bitcoin will surely grow so i have some bitcoins at the moment that will allow me to make some money |

The recent price is very solid. It rose 20% in the two weeks, and it stayed around the current level without a big correction. |

Same here. Most likely won't be online at the time. I don't know what will happen exactly but what I do know is that it will be a good thing for Bitcoin. Why? Because Bitcoin is the future and this will happen in the future also. ) |

My preparation has gone far enough to welcome halving, when the price of bitcoin is still under $500, even if I sell now, I've got enough profit. but I waited until close to halving, at least it can go more than $600
