Hi all,

Ive been using bitcoin for a while now often times through coinapult. However recently it ate my bitcoin. I sent them to m1ndset@tormail.org however after a day i have yet to receive their email. I checked the transaction via blockchain and it definitely went through, the only thing i can think of is i may have put a typo in my email address. I filled out the coinapult form as follows.

To: m1ndset@tormail.org (I think. Could have been a typo)
From: 1D7r6rziy4xTc8vB6TUycAueJUP4AekmVi (that is a bitcoin wallet i own i put its name in the from field from organization purposes)
Message: I hope this works (ironic that it didn't)

I am a little worried that even if no one claims them coinapult will never send them back to me since i didn't put an email in the "From" box. ANY HELP WORLD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED (and if i ever find this lost bitcoin i will throw some the way of who ever helps me find them.)

Thanks for your response, I have read your responses to similar coinapult issues in previous threads and they have been most helpful. Thanks for all the support.

Of course contacting coinapult through their contact form was the first thing i did. Email kinda sucks for support though and i was not sure how often that email is checked, so i thought i would cover all my bases and post here as well, as these forums have been helpful in solving problems in the past.

Ah, .. you hadn't mentioned that.

Email kinda sucks for support though

Doesn't really work that much better for delivering coins either (e.g., important notices getting flagged as spam by gmail, for instance)

If the problem was something like a typo in the e-mail address then you might be able to get that resolved.  For example, if you entered tormail.net instead of tormail.org, then that would be something Coinapult support would be able to determine as being an error and thus redeliver to the correct domain.  If instead it was a typo on the email user part, e.g., mindset not m1ndset, then that will be something that will take time as they may need take steps to verify that your inquiry isn't an attempt to swipe coins when the intended recipient really was the "mindset" user.   Or there was a typo and it bounced but since you didn't put in a return address the bounce doesn't go anywhere -- then that's easy to determine the claim of non-delivery would be legit.

But nobody can really help you much other than someone from Coinapult.

The good people at coinapult got back to me, quite quickly actually. I was even emailed by the great Ira Miller himself who resolved my issue in a jiff, Thanks coinapult.

BitInstant to email address transaction on April7 - after several days I received an email from Coinapult for Zero Bitcoins worth Zero - Coinapult has not answered me via their contact form or by direct email.  Not in my Spam folder either.  Any suggestions? 

I understand a lot was going on at the time.  However, I've also read something about 30 days.  Does everything evaporate if not resolved in 30 days?

I am new here and do not see a way to start my own post, so am replying to this one instead.
