I mostly like to hold my BTC because holding BTC is itself a investment with great potential. I have earned most of my bitcoin while the price was between $400 to $450 and now , BTC has touched $540, my holding value has appreciated as well. So holding bitcoin is also an investment and I am quite happy with the potential.
I do spend too but only if I get some good investment opportunity. I know some trusted borrowers in btcjam who has never failed a payment. I always investment in their loans ad earn interest on it. So it depends whether to hold or to spend.

i can never deny the good feeling that i get from spending bitcoin instead of fiat. because it is so easy and continent to do. but also because of the rising price there is always a bad feeling when i spend bitcoin because i am a little bit greedy and feel like losing on the opportunity of profit.
Never should get a thought like that. Dont feel regret when you spend it. Or you spend it to a thing that have no value? It will be a good feeling if you know you spent it to a right way and made you feel happy for doing it. |

Why Spend the bitcoins ? I think it is not the best time to spend. If you have the bitcoins keep them save for one month or so alteast till halving. On halving when hopefully the price will be near 100 Dollars we can sell them all and get high profits. Selling at the right moment in halving is the key. So take my word. Dont spend it now. Do you think it will increase that way now if it is not for spenders. That is the wrong idea here. Too much saving wont get it any far. Think about all of us are keeping it. Then where is the movement to see the fluctuation. Nothing. Almost half the bitcoin users are holding bitcoins for years and hence there are less coins circulating in the market. However, we shouldn't worry as more coins are being mined and even though there may be an instability in the market due to less trades, the price would keep moving as the present traders would continue to buy/sell bitcoins. |

I am more on hoarding than spending when it comes to bitcoin. I like monitoring the amount of my coins so I can sell them in the future for profit. How do you get your tips? I am just curious. Please share  yeah hoard money will be better for you to be rich Surely you must have a strategy to not be wasteful in hoarding money. I have a few tips. may not matter if you spend your money. but with the record you just spend a little money dude  |

I like to spend my bitcoin on trading sites. Buy some very cheap alt-coins with a good potential then I hoard it for a month. I wait my profit multiply by 2 or even bigger. That's how i spend it but sometimes i lose bigger than what I spent because i get nervous when it rise then suddenly goes down.
hoard altcoin will be more at risk in the appeal hoard bitcoin because not every altcoin has the potential to be a great altcoin and high prices. so you should be careful in buying altcoin and hoard it. because if you hoard it Of course you need a big bitcoin. and you will be a big loss if you lose |

I don't save any coins and mainly spend it the moment I earn some bits.
I prefer saving cash in the bank and earn interest rather than holding bitcoins as I had done that before wherein I used a wallet and then the wallet was just banned and I lost about $50 which was in my wallet that I couldn't recover. I fear the same with bitcoins.

Used to have a slight gambling problem with bitcoin; now I have the exact opposite problem. I love just hoarding my bitcoin transferring all the tips I made in a 12 hour shift into bitcoin is actually REALLY satisfying. Do you guys like to hoard your BTC or spend them?
i like doing both,spent my bitcoin sometime when i really need to spent it,then i hoard it when i need,now i hoard it because i think the price will rise and i plan to make profit,honestly i more like to spent bitcoin,no need worry and no need to wait any price changes,and spent for gambling iss worst decision,even sometime i love to do it. |

and there are a lot of signs that bitcoin price will grow, first of all the a lot of people get interested in bitcoin and secondly the bitcoin halving is incoming and i think this will make the price grow i like to hold all of my bitcoins because i know that the price is going to grow in the near future thus allowing me to gain a lot of profit, that the best investment option i have ever seen |

Obviously longterm holding Bitcoin is prefferable for me as well. I do spend little of my Bitcoins sometimes as well, but I mostly hoard Bitcoins to be spend in the future when I might need it much more. |

Obviously I like to accumulate and store my bitcoin is a safe place instead of spending it.
The reason is its enormous potential to grow to an uncharted territory. If it happens, I will be able to make few of my dreams in to reality. I know it will not be possible within a year or two but I am thinking long term, probably 5-7 years from now.

Yeah but sometimes it goes wrong. I trade bitcoin to US dollars and I got it all wrong all the time. I guess keeping it would be the best thing to do rather than move it always to dollar then back |

Yeah but sometimes it goes wrong. I trade bitcoin to US dollars and I got it all wrong all the time. I guess keeping it would be the best thing to do rather than move it always to dollar then back We cannot afford to take risk with our coins now as we are very near to halving, one wrong step can make your suffer from huge loss, so its better to hold till the halving. |

Holding your Bitcoin will be now the best thing that you can do with it and that is because the value of Bitcoin has started to rise so that is really nice for people who already have Bitcoin.
But it will be really hard to know what will truly happen with Bitcoin later in the future and that is the problem.
