I am trying the mining thing, I don't completly understand. My computer says it is going at 0.0044 per day. at like 33 Mhps.
is that good?
will i ever make any bitcoins like this? if not what are some other ways to make bitcoins

for example one Radeon 5850 card make 360 Mhps

would be the best to buy an ASIC mining equipment, it can earn you a lot more, at 60 000-80 000 mhps. compare it to your speed:)

Right. FPGA mining can still survive for a while, but the network difficulty is going right up.

At 33 Mhps, you'll make about $4 per month at current difficulty and market price. Ultimately, it comes down to whether or not you personally are paying your electric bill. In addition, the work of maintaining the mining software may not be worth $4 a month to you. That depends on how much time you spend an how much you value your time. You might even find it fun, and so it would be worth doing for free.
