Good idea to buy bitcoins now?

theres still 42 days left for the halfing and 42 days is a pretty long time. i think the price is going to start going crazy when theres about a week left but for now, its the lowest you're gonna see so a while. long story short you should buy now.

No buying right now is not the best thing... look at the price its way too high to buy right now, you will lose profit if the halving will be bad for sure.
I would wait for the price, maybe its even gonna go to a lower amount very soon.

It can be good to buy some bitcoins right now but its of course not the smartest thing due to the recent risings that has been done.

Actually today's low earlier is quiet a great opportunity to buy and add some coins on hand but because it just happen in a quick duration of time, many hesitate to take profits when the price sits at $770 while at the same time doing buys.

It was a good idea OP, you could earn a few dollars if you buy now. eventually BTC will go down again, but before it falls it needs to up first. Conclusions are it is nice to buy now and save it till the halving. I am planning to buy from any possible pull back.

Actually in most of the cases, every pump has an associated dump and we see that many times since the price hits $300 last year.

Today's case of price rise is different because there are hypes, expected speculations and manipulators on the move. Also the growth is exaggerating so even there will be a massive dump I see it won't goes down much for at least 50% considering those price low hunters set a target price of above $500 to do massive buys.

Yeah i agree but how if the price will continue to reach like $800 before halving so it a lot way not profitable. So if i have extra budget i will buy bitcoin but not whole i will buy just like 1/4 or 1/2 and i will hold it and keep earning everyday because of the price is continue rising. You have to buy Bitcoin when the price is low and that is not the case now because many people with already Bitcoin are now waiting for a higher value so they can sell it with a lot of profit.
And that should be perfect if they can earn some profit in a fast time and hopefully it will keep rising.

If you can afford to buy with current price then you can buy it, but to be honest if you buy now then profit margin would not be too higher, but you will make some profits for sure.

although we dont know how and when.

the current price is good for securing profits or to simply keep holding. buying right now is too risky as you don't know if the price will go up much higher than current levels. i definitely wouldn't risk buying at these prices.

so when there is an increase then you also have to be ready when there is a decrease. but now a different momentum, halving imminent and the possibility of bitcoin prices dropped very little during the months ahead. This price seems to be high for me, so I will  not prefer to buy as you cannot expect higher profits if you buy with current price as we don't know what will be the exact price at halving.
